5.Ishitha/Abhimanyu

For today's event in our college, apparently a fundraiser was arranged and although I was skeptical about why. There was a simple answer to it "we are progenies of the royals", I hate it.

The bile in my throat rose every step I took crossing the big gates of the college, the crowd was so not my calling...but here we are anyway.

I didn't find Vini anywhere, she did mention she'd be early over here, before my arrival. It felt like forever until I saw her. Vini Parthasarathy, she looked so beautiful...I swear again I'm not lesbian, but her fashion sense is simply attractive to add up her south-Indian roots, she looked like the showstopper. "Hey, Ish you look glamorous and dolled up!", "Thank you Vin, you look fabulous yourself." "Thank you ^^."

We both strode our ways everywhere, talking here and there with the teachers and a few big men who were a part of royals and fat businesses A.K.A, the fundraisers. I kinda' didn't care about the whole agenda of tonight, I was more into the whole vibe which did not give-off the initial meaning of what the event was, we both ate, talked, drank the best lemon-soda of the night, and then took a break by a lil crowd, Vini was informing me about what she and one of the fundraiser's were talking about until her brows lifted and I felt someone enveloping their tall, stone body behind me. I was about to turn I swear but my body wouldn't budge, I felt his scent heaving into my lungs, his presence more dominant than ever like it can order me around however, I hated the command that body had on me. 

"I will leave you guys alone", Vini vanished away...leaving me in my tranquil of thoughts, and this sunshine piece behind me.

 This event was literally business talk, catering, music blasting in the background like there was no tomorrow and I would say I did enjoy is rather than slumping at my apartment like Rohan...he didn't wanna be here, but I forced him out and he would be here anytime soon. when he arrived, he was already picked up by people and involved into the big talks, most of the people he was in conversation with were all some luxury good conglomerates, it made sense as his father owned his own empire of jewelries.

We both walked around the event, he surely wasn't in the mood of being around here until his jaw flinched a bit, his lips curved into a grin, his gaze fixated on a certain someone in this area...and the victim of his very visible lust was Vini Parthasarathy, not gonna lie she looked very beautiful, she was there with Ishitha, and I would be lying if I said my heart didn't skip a few beats because she looked breathtaking in that saree of hers, her hair falling down a lil tousled, the way the clothing draped around her waist, small figure, partly fair skin that glowed under the moonlight like it would blind me anytime soon if I looked longer than ever- "Stop ogling her and talk it out if you fell for her idiot, you look pathetic."

Rohan's words felt like a taunt, but they had no control over me, he wasn't the one to believe in love even if the skies tore apart, even though he might have looked at Vini they are still the worse with each other, they are each other's worse enemies.

"I will leave you guys alone."...Vini left us alone; she did have a mischievous grin before disappearing into the chaos. Here, I was in the presence of a black cat, and I was sure her cheeks turned crimson red before turning around. Her eyes widened- "Hi, Abhi...Manyu", I giggled a lil at how she wanted to call me by a short name but fit in the whole seconds in... "Hi beautiful." I did mean that, and she totally flushed again "I mean you look beautiful.", "Thank you, you look good as well", that was partly enough for me that the awkwardness could ware off the thick air today..."Enjoying the event?", "I am mostly alive because Vini is here...", "What about now?", I took a step closer to her while her eyes grew wide. "Young man you should stop playing around you know?" she said as she scoffed, "I don't think I am playing around."

We talked and met with Rohan and Vini a few hours later, and time just felt so slow and that was partly all I wanted for today, I think I'm falling for Ishitha, but I didn't want that nearly quick to happen...Maya was a nightmare, and neither was judging every other woman to be like her nor was I comparing someone as pathetic as her to Ishitha, she was anything but like Maya.

The night was a chaos it did not really feel like a fundraisers event on its own either because everyone felt rather casual and friendlier, per-say because were still kids according to them, we all took our leave, a part of me wanted to still stay- "Had a long night?", the voice was so comfortable yet dragged and tired that it felt like I could embrace it for the rest of my life...it was Ishitha's, she stood beside me her hair falling over her now fatigued shoulders, her scent veining into my lungs- "I did, but you seem more remorse than I do, had a long night?", I dittoed it back at her, a small laugh leaves her throat, making me smile "I did, it was fun followed by why I feel tired, Hey- thank you for today...I mean this place doesn't feel more alive without your presence adding Rohan and Vini." "I'm glad my sunshine energy was of some use for you...", "Oh do you think so?", "You wouldn't be thanking me for no reason indeed." her lips pressed leaving me smirk at the edge, before I could resort to saying anything more, Ishita's mom came by, and eventually we bid our goodbyes and left home. She looked beautiful, mesmerizing, as much as I didn't want to admit I think I was falling for her...
