I'm afraid of the hardship my sisters will have, and I'm also afraid that my sisters will drive a Land Rover

Sinian blinked, thinking she might be mistaken. Why else would Fu Qianqian be at her doorstep?

"Fu Qianqian?" she called out.

The young woman at the door finally turned around. Upon recognizing Sinian, her face was filled with shock. "Sinian! Is this really your home?"

Sinian looked at her own large house and then back at Fu Qianqian's constipated expression, smirking smugly. "Yes, it is."

Fu Qianqian looked crestfallen. She had thought Sinian had moved to the countryside, living in a mud house, sleeping on a wooden bed, living a miserable life. She had even bought some nice things, intending to mock her.

To her surprise, upon asking around the village, everyone pointed at this conspicuously large house as Sinian's family home!

Staring at the house, which, though not tall, had a surprisingly large footprint, Fu Qianqian fell silent. Her family wasn't wealthy either, but at least their home was in the countryside. They'd return to visit the elderly during festivals. But compared to Sinian's place, theirs was far more modest.

Thinking back to when Sinian had spoken so humbly about her family, Fu Qianqian remembered the mocking expression she had worn. Now, she felt like a fool.

Her current emotions could be summed up as: fearing Sinian's hardship but also fearing her luxurious life.

Seeing Fu Qianqian's expression, Sinian felt inexplicably pleased. Maybe it was because of the original owner's memories. They had always been rivals since childhood, finding each other annoying.

Both could easily be characters in a "waking up laughing" series when one faced misfortune.

Now, Sinian was experiencing this feeling herself.

"Do you need something?" Sinian guessed Fu Qianqian wouldn't travel all this way to the village without a good reason.

But she had completely sold the business to her; there shouldn't be any reason she'd need Sinian for now.

Fu Qianqian nodded.

Seeing Fu Qianqian sweating profusely from the heat, Sinian stepped forward to open the door. "Come in and we can talk inside."

Fu Qianqian followed her into the courtyard, curiously eyeing the house. It looked quite new, probably built only a few years ago.

When they entered the living room, Fu Qianqian was once again taken aback. A radio, television, and sofas, everything one would find in an urban apartment was here. This was undeniably the lifestyle of the invisible wealthy!

Not even the TV in the Si family's house was this big. This damn woman was too lucky.

Despite the fierce competition in the military compound, she managed to snag the eldest son. And now, here in the village, she found the wealthiest family around.

Thinking back to when she was younger, she remembered people saying that Sinian had the "Five Courtyards" facial features, which signify wealth and a prosperous husband. She had rolled her eyes at that notion then, but now she understood.

Whether or not Sinian was good at keeping her husband happy was unknown, but she was certainly wealthy.

While Fu Qianqian was lost in these thoughts, Sinian had already moved to the kitchen and poured a bowl of mung bean soup for her. During hot weather, Sinian liked to drink cold beverages.

So she made extra mung bean soup, knowing that Zhou Yueshen's family had a refrigerator, making it convenient to store.

She placed the bowl of mung bean soup in front of Fu Qianqian, who was still looking around in awe.

Feeling thirsty, Fu Qianqian subconsciously took a sip. The icy coolness instantly hit her head. She quickly took a couple more gulps. "Why is it so cold?" She looked at Sinian in surprise.

Sinian sipped the mung bean soup leisurely, holding the bowl as if it were a cup of tea. Even holding a bowl of mung bean soup made her seem noble and elegant.

She replied lightly, "We have a refrigerator at home."

Fu Qianqian was left speechless. Was there a need to be this extravagant? A big house, TV, radio, and now even a refrigerator. Has rural life advanced this quickly?

Fu Qianqian exclaimed, "You're doing well! Seeing how reluctant Lin Sisi looks, I thought your life would be quite tough!"

Sinian raised an eyebrow, "I should thank her for the good life I have now."

Fu Qianqian thought Lin Sisi was quite foolish. With such a big house available, she chose to live in the old residence in the military compound. Mentioning Lin Sisi reminded Fu Qianqian of her purpose for coming. She said, "The reason I came today is to talk to you about Lin Sisi."

Her expression seemed somewhat smug.

Sinian looked puzzled, "Lin Sisi?"

Fu Qianqian nodded, her face filled with gossip, "She had a fight with my brother!"

Sinian responded with a blank expression, "Why should I care if they had a fight?"

"What's it got to do with me?" Sinian asked.

Fu Qianqian was stunned, "You, aren't you upset?"

Sinian was puzzled, "Why should I be upset?"

Fu Qianqian was at a loss. If Sinian's indifference towards her brother last time was out of concern for gossip or just to spite him, now it seemed she genuinely had no interest in him!

She had thought Sinian was infatuated with her brother the way she acted.

Fu Qianqian took another sip of the mung bean soup to calm herself down, "Well, you shouldn't celebrate too soon. Right now, people from both our families think you've been meddling in my brother's and Lin Sisi's relationship. They might come after you for that..."

She wasn't just there to share the news about the discord between Lin Sisi and her brother. The Sin family believed Sinian was behind it all, causing trouble.

After all, Sinian had gone with them that day. Before she showed up, the couple had been fine. But after she left, they fought, and she hadn't even taken any photos before leaving. Lin Sisi even threatened to call off the engagement, claiming Sinian and her brother had some unclear relationship, implying that Sinian was trying to sabotage their relationship.

The entire compound believed that Sinian, being ousted from the Sin family, still harbored feelings for her brother and was now seeking revenge on Lin Sisi and the Sin family.

Her reputation had taken a hit.

So Fu Qianqian came to warn Sinian to be cautious.
