I notice something strange
as I step out the shower
and use a white and
fluffy towel to dry
my body.

The wounds on my
arms and legs have
healed as if they
were never
there.

Never there.

A knock startles me
out of my thoughts as
I begin to quickly dress.

I put on my undergarments
first, followed by a brown
and a soft tent-like dress
with long sleeves.

It hugs my body frame
and isn't too tight or
loose.

I slip into the new black
flats given to me and exit
from the bathroom.

Cassandra was waiting for
me, "You look very pretty."

She compliments, smiling
kindly.

I merely nod, not really
being sure of that.

There wasn't a mirror
in the bathroom so
how would I
know?
