I lay up in bed, wincing
from the slight pain at
the back of my head.
The food didn't agree
with my stomach.
That was embarrassing.
I can feel my cheeks burn.
As I stand up, my bedroom
door opens to only reveal
Ronin.
"Are you okay now?" He asks,
wearing a concerned expression.
"Why do you care?" I retort, not
believing a word from his mouth.
"I only care because
we are lovers."
"I don't believe you!"
"Maybe you should."
Ronin walks over
to me, I back away.
"You don't remember me."
I shake my head and glance
away from Ronin's eyes.
Water droplets fall from
my eyes and to my lap.
I have no recollection of
anything.
I'm here in this strange
place and everything
seems off.
