"Emily? Hello? Are you listening? Hellooo?" V basically screamed in my ear and ripped me out of my thoughts with that.
"Huh? What? Yes I'm listening." I lied but she obviously knew that I totally didn't listen to what she said.
"Are you daydreaming about Lando again? It's been a week and you look like you're on cloud seven or something."

She was right. I did daydream about Lando again just like I did the whole past week.
Now that It became clear to me that he might like me too I miss him even more when he's somewhere around the world driving a super fast car.
Yes we face timed a few times and he called me when he was free but that just wasn't the same.

"Honestly...I feel like I'm on cloud seven too."
I sighed happily.
V responded with a gag "I want my sister back. Who are you and what did you do to Emily?"
"Don't be like that V. I can't do anything about my feelings. It's just that he is so sweet and caring and such a gentlemen. If only you knew how he kissed me V...it was like a movie and I'm still not sure if it was real." I started bubbling but she interrupted me: "okay that's enough. Bloody hell you two need to get together immediately I can't stand the crazy in love Em that you are right now."
"You're always so mean" I pouted.

I was busy pouting like a child so I didn't notice that my phone was ringing until V told me but it was too late. She already took my phone with the biggest grin I've ever seen.
"V who is it? Is it Lando? Don't do it, please V."
I begged because I already knew she was about to answer the call.

What should I say? She basically ran away with my phone and also answered the call because she knew I couldn't leave the playground like her.
"June your aunt is being really mean to mummy again. I just wanted to talk to your daddy. Instead I'm building sandcastles with you, which is much better anyway, don't get me wrong." I talked more to myself than to June but she didn't really listened to what I said anyway because she was too distracted with destroying the sand castle I just made for her. She looked up to my suprised face and started laughing.
Gosh she's too cute.

With every passing minute I grew more nervous over V and Lando on the phone. After 15 minutes that I spent with building sand castles for June to destroy it over and over again, V came back with a mischievous grin on her face.

"Bye Lando. Wanna talk to Em? Okay then. Have a wonderful day." She chirped.
My hopes went up when she said that because I was sure that he would talk to me. Turns out he doesn't. V clicked on the little red symbol and handed me my phone.

Of course there must be a reason so I tried to concentrate on the fact that we will talk later or something but there was a little disappointment still.
"What did you two talk about?" I asked curious but V just shrugged.
"None of your business."
"Well it kinda is my business."
"Just because he's your soon to be boyfriend? I don't think so." She was so sassy, wow.

Anyway, we let that topic down because arguing with V was pointless so I had to be satisfied with what she told me: nothing.

We made our way back to my apartment. The whole time I had an odd feeling because of V's weird smile and all the little allusions she made. The only thing I knew was that It had something to do with Lando but no clue what it could be.

Turned out I didn't had to wait long. As soon as we turned the corner to my street I could see his car which he leaned on with a big bouquet of my favorite flowers.

I couldn't help myself but started to smile at him.
"Hey you. Don't you have to be somewhere else?"
"Oh yeah my bad. You want me to leave then?" He acted like he was hurt but his smile emerged every now and then.
"No no no no please don't. I'm happy you're here." I suddenly stood really close to him while we both just smiled at each other.
