Mine? || Lando Norris

The whole weekend went by like a dream. The date was just perfect and we spend time together other than that as well as much as we could.
When he's not around all I do is staring at the promise ring he gave me.
Like right now for example.

"What are you looking at so concentrated?"
Oscar said, walking around the corner to the table I sat with June to have some breakfast.
He greeted June with a head pat before he sat down next to me and took a closer look at the ring I was staring at.

"Did he propose? You guys met like 3 or 4 weeks ago Em!" Oscar exclaimed a little bit too loud so that everyone turned around to us. I sssshd at him quickly, acting as if nothing happened.
"What? No he did not propose it's a promise ring but we've known each other way longer than 4 weeks" I said confused
"What do you mean way longer? We literally ran into him in Miami together."
And then it hit me. I forgot to talk to Oscar about Noah.

"Oooh. Well- a few things happened and I may or may not forgot to tell you."
I hesitated telling him but he was too curious now to wait.
"What? Tell me everything."
Doesn't he have Twitter? I'm sure Twitter is full with it. Whatever.

"So Noah and I got along really well in the beginning and we wanted to go out together but June was really clingy and wouldn't leave my side on that day so I canceled the date. He couldn't really understand the reason but accepted it but on the next day I went to the beach with Lando and June because Lando wanted to spend time with her..." I told Oscar the whole story until the events of yesterday. When I finished he looked shocked and couldn't really believe it.

"Wow Em I'm so sorry. He was always such a nice pal I didn't know he is an asshole. Sorry for the curse word."
"It's fine. You know I'm quite happy with the current situation." I smiled at him.
"Look at you getting red. Sweet. To be honest, Lando seemed really happy lately as well so don't stop what you guys are doing. I gotta leave and prepare myself now. See you later."

Oscar went to his trainer and left June and me alone. Luckily some mechanics that I already knew from the Chinese Grand Prix joined us to finish our lunch together and have a laugh or two.

I sadly didn't see Lando the whole day because he was busy with I don't know what but I was able to watch the race from his garage so we followed the McLaren team member that brought us to our spot right next to Adam and Olliver.

"Well hello there. Watching your daddy drive today?" Olliver cooed, then asked if he could hold her. June was a little shy at first but Ollie danced with her and eventually got a belly laugh and some big smiles from June as a reward.
"Those little headphones are so cute, look at that"
He said. Yes it was noticeable that he was a girls dad just like his brother.

Since it was the Monaco GP nothing much happened during the race except for the first two rounds that caused a red flag because the two haas and Checo Perez crashed.

We used that time to chat a little bit while the marshals cleaned up the track and it was in that moment: I didn't even notice at first but when I looked up to the screen I could see myself. I searched for the camera and waved intuitively until it hit me and I realized that not only I could see me but June as well.

I tried to overplay it and hide June from the view of the camera but it was obviously too late and we weren't even seen on the screens anymore.
Well I think I deserve an applause because I failed my mission in hiding her from any camera in a place with this much cameras and was naïve enough to think that it wouldn't happen like that.

"The whole world was able to see you a moment ago June. You were on international TV..that's great...isn't it?" I tried to talk and convince myself that it wasn't a reason to panic but it was safe to say that it didn't work at all. I felt like I was going to throw up, tears welling up in my eyes.
