There was a knock of the door and Nico Di Angelo burst into the room, his cheeks reddened from the cold.
He was smiling but he looked around anxiously. "Hey! Where's... where's my sister?"
Dead silence. I stared at Chiron then at Percy, who had gotten up and walked over to Nico.
"Hey, Nico," Percy said with a hand on the little boys back. "Let's take a walk, okay? We need to talk."
I started to follow Percy but a hand on my arm stopped me. I turned to face Chiron with confusion.
"Rayn," he had a strained smile on his face. "There is someone I would like for you to meet."
Before I could ask who, Chiron had already left with the expectation I would follow him, and I did.
We stopped beside the training grounds, a little girl I had never seen before was punching one of the older boys hands.
"That is Kayleigh Rose," Chiron motions to the girl. "And I want you to train her."
"Oh, yeah, sure," I stared at the girl. I tried to think of why I had to train her since she was doing fine with the boy she was with now.
"Kayleigh, come over here," Chiron said and she ran over with a smile on her face. Her brunette hair flying into her face, blocking her blue eyes.
"Hi!" She squealed when she saw me. The girl was young. From the look of her she seemed to be only six years old.
"Hi," I smile back at her.
"Kayleigh here was claimed very quickly," Chiron laughed slightly at the little girl practically jumping up and down. "She is a daughter of Persephone."

I sat on Percy's bed as he packed up his stuff. There wasn't much to pack since he had only been here a few days for winter break.
"Nico hates me," he said. Percy had told me all about Nico cursing him out and disappearing into the forest after defeating four skeleton warriors.
"He doesn't hate you," I rack my brain for something to make him feel better. "Just right now he's grieving and agitated."
"He literally told me he hated me and that he doesn't trust me anymore," Percy huffed and sat down beside me.
"Maybe he was—"
A knock on the door of cabin three startled us both. Then Kayleigh burst in.
"Hi," she waved at Percy shyly before running and sitting on my lap.
"Who is this?" Percy asked, smiling as if nothing had happened to him.
"Kayleigh," I said, holding my little sister in my arms. "She's the newest daughter of Persephone at camp."
"Oh?" Percy smiled at her before she jumped up from my lap and stared at Percy.
"Chiron said that whenever you're ready you can leave," Kayleigh turned and ran out of the cabin before anyone could speak anything more.
Percy and I stood up and looked at each other. "I'll see you in the summer." I tell him before turning around and walking out of the cabin.
"Rayn," a tap on my shoulder made me turn around. The next thing I know, Percy is smothering me with a tight hug. "I cant wait for summer."
