"Her wings" Willis said on the TV. "There's only one person on earth with wings like hers. She knows that anyone could determine who she is behind the mask with even the smallest amount of research. Honestly I think she only wears it because she is a bit of a nerd- if you knew her you'd understand."

Tanya chuckled to herself. She was standing outside an electronics store watching the Debate on the TV in Oklahoma City. People passing by her craning their necks to get a good look at her. She kept the mask on her face regardless- she knew why she really wore it.

She started her way through the crowd of people when she felt something in the air- a nauseating presence all too familiar. She followd the aura to a nearby building when she heard talking.

"My answer is no" she heard a familiar voice say. It was the Dark One! She moved closer to the source.

"It's not like we haven't worked together before" A woman's voice said. "I still have the activation for the virus you made."

"I am not going to explain my motives to you" the Dark One said. "Our arrangment ended the moment you activated your machine in the city of New York, Halatia!"

Tanya stopped dead in her tracks, realizing that the woman she heard was Halatia. This woman was not only responsible for the Manhatten Crisis but also the one who killed her parents the night of her corination. She moved closer, trying her best to not make a noise.

"Don't act all innocent" Halatia replied, "You've murdered others in pursuit of your own goals!"

"Never the innocent" the Dark One faught back. "Only those who have commited unspeakable acts or stood in my way. Luicfer died by my hand because he orcrastraded the second world war to create a philosipher's stone with the souls of the innocent- something you've done yourself when you turned on the machine. Our buisness has been concluded!"

"Don't you dare walk away from me" Halatia said, her voice echoing with others.

"Go ahead" the Dark One said. "Fire that energy bolt, I dare you! You won't even lay a scratch on me- but I can promise that I will ensure your demise. Some friendly advice: You think you hold all the power but the reality is your power was only ever fit for the role you were designed for."

Tanya couldn't wait any longer, she needed to do something. She pocketed her mask and walked into the room they were in. The Dark One stood with Halatia aiming a charged energy bolt at him, the inensity of which caused it to spark slightly. The Dark One seemed to give off a smokey appearance with some parts of his body. They both looked to see Tanya.

"Sounds like you're up to no good" Tanya said, charging a pink energy bolt in her hand.

"Get out of here, Efaz" the Dark One demanded. "She's too powerful for you."

"That's never really stopped me before" Tanya shrugged off.

"I wish I could say that I would enjoy this as much as I enjoyed killing your parents" Halatia teased as the bolt in her hand disapated.

She seemed to be cooling down her energy, Tanya remained ready for anything. She saw a slight smile in the corner of Halaitia's mouth as the Dark One seemed to charge to her. The last thing Tanya saw was a massive pulse of psychic energy with the Dark One seemingly jumping in front of her to sheild her.

The city was reduced to a crater.
