"Promises"

I cant think of any other short to put in between these chapters so I will just time skip to the last days. I was also busy as hell. Well, have a Happy Valentines from Me! (This story has nothing to do with valentines). Also , Sorry if It's short. Please bare with it. It will get good in a bit.

It's the end of the fourth year of college and it's almost our graduation. Just three months left and I will take my master's degree. I keep walking until I got to the park since I haven't seen the sun in 2 weeks. Why? Work...

"Hmm..."

I look at the corner of my eye and I saw Rex just sitting there. If I know him, he seems to be thinking something horrible

"Rex!" I gave a hug to the wolf and gave him a peck on his lips

"Hey Puppy!"

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Well..."

He peeled me off with him

"Rex?"

"Do you want to get lunch?"

"Rex... Tell me!" I begged

"Later... Let's go to the mall!" He pulled me to the direction of the mall.

After a while, I just let it go. He said later so I trust my boyfriend. Then, we went to McDonalds for lunch. I ordered chicken and Rex just sundae.

"So, what would you do if I was gone?" He smirked

"Well, I would kill you if you left me" I winked at him

"Oh?"

"I would tie you up on bed and you wont enjoy it" I then leaned over "Well, maybe a little"

As I leaned over, I was pushed back

"Rex?"

"I need to go home now"

He stood up and went to the door. I quickly followed him as I stare at is non-moving tail.

"REX" I shouted

"Puppy... No, Ice... Forget about me" I can see him shudder

"Rex... Why?"

"It's..."

As he stand faced backwards to me, he ran in the nearby forest. I quickly followed him and I saw him jumping branch-to-branch. Since we're both former Class Z, I did the same. I climbed the tree and jumped as well.

"REX!"

"LEAVE ME BE!" He said as I felt his tears on my cheeks

"Please..." I said

I landed on a branch. I heard it break and I fell off. I started to cry and I just closed my eyes...

"PUPPY!!"

I lost consciousness and I feel the wind on my cheeks. A little later, I open my eyes and I saw his face on mine.

"Don't do that again..." He said

"I'm sorry..." I said

"Pup..." He laid me on his lap "I am leaving in 4 months. I'm going to Chile."

"Oh..."

"I wont be coming back..." He gave me a very tight hug

"Please... Don't..."

"Puppy... I might forget you... I may replace you... I'm scared..."

"Then... promise me..."

I stare at his eyes and I licked his tears

"You wont forget me nor replace me. I love you"

"I..." He stutter

"I will work after 2 more years. Wait for me..."

"I will" He gave me a kiss. It's more passionate and The saddest we had. But it was also the longest. "Wait for you."

"Yes..."

We stayed there after a while. It's as if the world understands our pain. It's sunset but we stayed together longer. Yes... This is called fatal connection. We stood up and went home

"Rex..." I said

"Yes puppy?"

"Never hide anything from me..."

"I wont"

I gave him a kiss. I am actually scared of him leaving. Please... let those four months be the longest in my life...
