Chapter 17

"I'm glad you took up my offer." Eric says sitting on the black couch in the middle of his apartment.

I move to sit next to him. "How could I say no?"

"Easily, but I wouldn't have let you." He says turning to look my direction. "I'm really liking the new look"

"Thanks." I look to my lap and start biting my lip. "Why is Four Interested in the other stiff?"

"I have no idea. She's doing terrible in the rankings. Maybe he pities her."

"I don't think that's it. Maybe he sees something we don't." I move my gaze from my lap to his blue eyes.

"I didn't think this was how the night was going to go."

"Oh?" I send a smirk his direction, before climbing on top of him. I lean close to his face and whisper, "I'm guessing you wanted in my pants."

He looks at me with two different emotions. Surprise and...longing. I pull back a little, confused.

"Longing? Do I really mean that much to you?"

He doesn't answer the question, instead he locks lips with me. The kiss is gentle, yet strong.

He pulls away, "Does that answer your question?"

I shake my head.

He then flips me over. So now he's on top. And he crashes his lips on me again. Now he is rough, and I feed it right back to him.

He then slowly kisses down my jaw line and to my shoulder.

"ERIC!" There is a loud knock on the door. Eric huffs in annoyance.

They knock again, "ERIC! I KNOW YOU'RE HOME! OPEN THE DOOR!

Eric climbs off me, and walks over to the door. He opens the door so that you can't see inside.

"Four? To what do I owe the pleasure?" Eric says annoyed.

"Evelyn isn't in the sleeping corridor. I was wondering if you've seen her?" Four asks trying to look around Eric's body.

"No I have not seen Evie. Is there any chance that she would be out celebrating with her friends?"

"No she lost. Why would she be celebrating?" Tobias retorts.

"She did make it through the first stage of initiation." Eric sasses back dryly.

"Right, I'll keep looking." Tobias says, with uncertainty.
