Kara's POV

Susunod na sana ako sa kanila nang makita ko si Trev na nakatayo sa labas ng veranda. It is clear that something is worrying him.

"Trev." lumapit ako sa kanya. "The others are already waiting outside."

"I know." he replied.

I almost broke a smile when I saw his serious face again.

He is busy thinking about something else... or a someone perhaps?

"We're not going there for vacation, aren't we?" I sighed.

Umiling siya.

I know what's going on in that brain of his. I know what he's thinking about. Because I have the same thoughts as him in my mind as well.

"Have you confirmed it yet?" tanong ko.

"I still could not believe it." sagot niya.

"But you won't deny it." My eyes drifted down the floor.

Silence quickly filled the space. What I said was true. We can't deny the fact that maybe...

Just maybe.

One of us is... special.

"Kara. Prepare me a series of files concerning her life in the mortal realms. Include her mortal relatives." utos niya.

"I will." I assured him.

A question suddenly popped up in my mind that I can't help but ask.

"What if we're right?"

"Then I will take care of it. Make sure no one else knows. We will wait for the right time to speak." he answered. His voice seemed darker than usual. He was determined to find out the truth and protect that truth.

I grinned.

He will take care of it? Really? When he is already taking care of it.

Siguro nga hindi niya alam but I can sense the mist around her. I am not that stupid to realize he is trying to conceal her scent from those who are looking for her.

"Level up your game, son of Zeus." sambit ko dahilan na mapatingin siya sa'kin.

"I know you have something else that you need to tell her."

Cesia's POV

Napangiti ako habang nakatingin kay Ria na nag-iingay. I felt it. Naramdaman kong nabawasan ang galit na nakaipon sa loob niya.

Hindi ko alam kung anong nangyari pero... masaya ako para sa kanya.

"HOY! YUNG SUNBLOCK DAW!" sigaw ni Thea.

"Nasa'kin!" itinaas ko ang aking kamay.

Nasa labas kami ngayon ng dorm, naghihintay na kunin kami ng aurai para maihatid kami sa airport.

"Wait. Headcount!" ani Ria.

"Amputa. Kailangan pa ba yon?!" reklamo ni Chase.

"Shut the fuck up Chase. Gusto ko lang maging worth it ang lakad na'to." sagot ni Ria.

Tumango-tango si Art.

Kanina pa ako nagpipigil ng tawa dito dahil ang ingay-ingay nila. Baka magising nila yung ibang estudyante. Madaling-araw pa naman.

"HOY TANGINA SABI KO ONE!" napipikon na si Thea. "Ako pa ba mag a-adjust?! Oh ayan! ONE! TWO! THREE-"

"Iihh!! May kulang eh! Sina Kara at Trev nag-aayos pa ng mga gamit nila." tugon ni Art.
