| the golden-tongued
difficult it must have been
for the demons on your tongue
to accept that the weight
of the toxic molten gold
dripping from your teeth
was not enough to crumble
the lilacs in my arteries
very difficult indeed for them
to realize that the sparkling liquid
product of their sugarcoated words
only polished the petals
of my flowers to endure
their softness to stand against
other masters of oblivious demons like yoursdemons |
