So you're the serious type

It didn't take long for Prowl to come back with the energon he promised. But this time, he brought a friend. A very annoying one.

"Can I see the Decepticon, Prowl? Can I?" Bumblebee bounced around Prowl while he carried the container of energon.

When they came to your cell, Bumblebee made him drop the container by bumping into him. With lightning fast reflexes, he dove onto the ground and saved it from shattering.

"Nice save." You murmured, a small smile on your face. You pursed your derma, trying not to blush as Prowl got up and smiled at you.

"Ooooh, is that her? She's pretty!" Bumblebee giggled, peering at you through the beams of energy.

"Keep your mouth shut kiddo and maybe I won't smack you upside the head." You growled, chuckling when the little bot ducked behind Prowl.

"Prowl! She's being mean!" Bumblebee complained.

Prowl groaned, shoving Bumblebee away and opening the hatch to the cell. He slid the container of energon through and you took it thankfully.

"Thanks, ninjabot. Who's this little friend of yours?" You giggled, taking a sip of the refreshing energon.

Prowl rolled his optics and stifled a chuckle. "Ninjabot, that's an interesting nickname..." he thought, placing a hand on his hip. "Oh, this is Bumblebee. Also known as the most annoying bot ever..."

"Hey! I'm not annoying!" Bumblebee protested, pouting at Prowl.

"He has a point." You grumbled, downing another gulp of energon. You stood up and flexed your wings, stretching out your sore joints. "When am I gonna get out of here? I'm itching for a flight..."

"Never cause you're our prisoner!" Bumblebee exclaimed. "Ow! Heyyy!" He whined, rubbing his head where Prowl had smacked him.

"I could ask Optimus if I can take you out for some fresh air.... I doubt he'll let you fly though. I'll have to keep watch so you don't escape either." Prowl muttered, scratching his chin thoughtfully.

"You're so serious..." you smirked, skirting the edge of the cell as you walked around.

"Finally! Someone agrees with me!"

"I wasn't agreeing with you, little annoying pest.." You rolled your optics, leaning against the wall.

"I'll go ask Optimus, Bumblebee will stay here and wait for my return." Prowl nodded, darting off down the hallway.

Once he had left, Bumblebee stepped closer to your cell and winked. "Soooooo...."

"Not gonna happen.." you growled as a warning, sending Bumblebee scrambling backwards.

-A few moments later-

You heard Prowl's light footsteps approaching your cell and your wings flicked up in excitement.

"Optimus says I can take you out, but only for a little while." Prowl said, unlocking the cell and turning off the energy beams. He stepped aside, allowing you to go first. "After you."

You giggled and nodded, walking out of the cell and down the hall.

Bumblebee brought up the rear and snickered loudly. He stood up on his tiptoes and whispered to Prowl. "You liiiikkkkeee her, don't you?"

Prowl turned pink in the face and panicked. "N-No! I don't!" He shoved Bumblebee into the wall and kept walking with you.

"What was that?" You asked, looking over your shoulder at him.

"Nothing, Y/N. Keep walking." Prowl quickly said, trying to compose himself.

"Okay..." you mumbled, continuing your course through the winding hallways.

Eventually, you came to a steel door that looked like it was beginning to rust over. Prowl stepped in front of you and produced a key, unlocking the door.

"Looks like no one's been down here in a while." You commented, wincing at the creaking sound as the door opened.

"We don't use this area much anymore, we hardly ever have prisoners. This was supposed to be a secondary exit to the base, but I use it as my own personal escape route from everyone else." Prowl replied, stepping into the overgrown area.

You slowly stepped out after him, taking in the beautiful scenery before you. There were trees everywhere and flowering vines grew from every fallen log. This place looked like it hadn't been touched for years. "Wow... it's beautiful.." you whispered, your ruby red optics twinkling with delight.

Prowl sighed, walking over to a tree stump and sitting cross-legged on it. "I come out here to escape the noises of the city and meditate."

"You meditate? That's something you don't see much of anymore..." You chuckled, taking a seat in the moss next to him. You fiddled with your restraints for a while, not liking the awkward silence.

"Why were you alone?" Came Prowl's sudden question.

"What?" You tilted your helm in confusion.

"Why were you alone when we found you trying to get that energon?" Prowl asked again, turning to face you.

You looked at your pedes and sighed, memories flowing through your processor. "I... I'm not sure I want to talk about it..."

"Holding in your true feelings will only make you feel worse. You can trust me."

You looked up at Prowl, seeing that he had a sincere smile on his face. You couldn't help but smile back, your wings slowly lowering as you relaxed. "Alright... I'll tell you. But you have to promise you won't tell anyone."

"I promise." Prowl replied, nodding slowly.
