The academy was lavishly decorated in burgundy and gold ornate chairs, chandeliers, lamps, and plush rugs. The desks were of sprawling mahogany and very finely made. The uniforms for the men consisted of while linen button up shirts and dark navy pants. Girls wore very modest, thick button ups and pleated knee -length skirts to match the men, and knee length socks to cover their legs from view.
