The Little Mermaid is a 1989 animated film that sparked the Disney Renaissance and earning two Best Original Song nominations at the Oscars, Under the Sea winning.
Beauty and the Beast is the second film of the Renaissance. Released in 1991, it marked history becoming known as the very first animated movie to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture.
