Chapter 7: Peace At Last
* Sophia is safe and sound. Curtis had to stay overnight in the hospital because Mikey broke his wrist against and ruptured one of his testicles, later he was arrested; charged with kidnapping. Doctor Nicklos and Mikey when on a date- Mikey was only allowed to drink water; Nicklos drank Red Wine. Areon/Aiden stayed to make sure Larenta and Sophia were safe, they got to know each other more; The have a funny/weird Love Triangle. Ra'Gina was pissed that the chicken was not taken out, so she made Areon/Aiden cook dinner. *
" Mommy? Can you play me a song to help me sleepy, please?" Sophia asked as she sits up in her bed.
" Sure, Baby. What song would you like to hear? Hm?" I ask as I connect the iPod.
" Um... Hmm. Mr. Rogers please."
" Okay, Baby." I chuckle as I know what songs she means.

When the song finished, Sophia is dead to the world. I cover her with the blanket and kiss her forehead, whispering I love her as I do.
I can't help thinking how I almost lost her.
The pain I felt when i called out to her and she didn't answer " With, Momma I was pottying."
Or The fear of what Curtis would do to her.
Its all over now.
I don't have to worry anymore.
Curtis/ Ronnie is locked away.
I have Mikey.
I have Areon... and Aiden.
And Mama Gina.
As I lay in bed with Sophia, I can't help think how she always told me that even though I was both mentally and physically torn about what Curtis/Ronnie did to me; raped me. I should forgive him but never forget.
She said I should use it to fight and keep moving forward.
That pain doesn't and shouldn't control me.
It's not good or healthy to hold on to the bad.

Well it was taken, but it wasn't fully gone.
