before taking another item
They share this comfortable
silence for a while

It didn't take long
for Hansuke to finish
restocking
"Well, I'll be off for now,
enjoy shopping," he says,
awkwardly, dashing off
After that small talk,
they exchanged smiles and
nods at each other
whenever they met,
sometimes talking but not
for too long
Ami finishes shopping
just as Hansuke finishes
his shift
They both find themselves
in each other's presence
walking home together
