"Okay, quiet. I want everyone to write down one word that describes how they feel." Says Paige
Ever since Zach and I kissed on Tuesday its been a little awkward. On Wednesday we didn't talk much and today at school we didn't really talk either. Since today is Thursday we both have group and hopefully I'll get to talk to him.
"Maddie! Your card?" Says Paige
"Oh right! Here" I say
"Now I'm going to read all these word out loud and I want you to raise your hand if you have ever felt this way" says Paige
"Worthless" I raise my hand
"Unloved" I raise my hand
"Stupid" I raise my hand
"Invisible" I raise my hand, that was Zach's
"Lost" I raise my hand since it was mine.
"Now I want everyone to describe their word"
A couple people go and then it's my turn,
"Sometimes I think that I don't have a purpose. I'm just there trying to find a purpose. I kinda just wander around, I'm basically lost" I explain
"Good Maddie!" Says Paige, "lastly we have Zach"
Zach explains his word, "People always try and change the way you see things. If I'm invisible they can't see me so they can't change me. I don't want to change, this is who I am. I try so hard but nothing I do ever seems to be good enough for anyone. Sometimes I'm not even good enough for myself."
