Chapter 19: Drama on Set part 2/2

   Guys, take 15. Crew needs to... discuss some things." The ring of people disbanded and Narumiya's manager ushered him away to the dressing rooms.
"What are gonna do, are we gonna keep the scene, make them do it all over again.?" Asked one lady in camera crew. The director contemplated.
"Hmm, no that's alright, we'll just do the next scene and wait for makeup to get Sajou-San ready. Then after that, we can look at the scene and see if we can use it for the episode." I clicked my tongue and speaked out, not caring if I get I fired.
    "What the hell man!?! You're not even gonna ask if he wants that in the episode?!?" He looked at me with scornful eyes.
    "Look, I get that you care for Narumiya-kun and so do I, but this is a business. I am already in a bad mood because we lost an expensive camera yesterday losing a lot of filming time. I feel like I'm already being generous with a fifteen minute break." He pinched his nose and called out.
    "Everyone on set, get ready for next scene." People started moving about and I got irritated because he was brushing me off.
   "But what about Narumiya's input, it says specifically in our contracts that both actors and director need consensus on the scenes and script in order to publish our work onto ccTLD domain." He walked up and passive aggressively had his hand on my shoulder and he had a contemptuous smile plastered on his face.
    "Not in his situation. You see Takato, Narumiya-kun is still a minor under Japanese law. All of the terms of agreement go his parents, not him. The parents signed off that I can film him however I'd like so it's not up to you." I scoffed and gritted my teeth. He took a breath and smiled at me like a different person.
    "With that out the way, let's be friends and do the next scene okay? Makeup should be here soon so go into the makeup and special effects room and wait for them." I removed him from my shoulder and walked towards the dressing rooms to check on Narumiya. Then he started to yell at me.
   "Hey, just where in the hell are you going!?!" I just waved him off and continued to walk to Narumiya's dressing room.
    "You said 'take fifteen'. I still have 7 more minutes." I walked away and muttered under my breath.
   "Ass hat."
   I walked over to his dressing room and knocked on his door.
  "Come in." I heard him said. I opened the door to see him having a tissue patting his eye.
  "Is, everything alright Ryō?" I sat next to him.
   "I told you... I just got to caught up in the role, that's all." I could tell he's lying. I put a hand on his back.
    "I know you're lying, please tell me what's - "
   "Hey," he interrupted me. His voice sounding so broken.
   "We never got to hang out like we promised. You know, our tennis match. Let's go out today." He changed the subject so I know he doesn't want to talk about it. My maternal instincts just telling me that I needed to comfort him.
   I softened my eyes and gave him a smile.
   "You know what, sure." He gave me a big smile.
   "Really?" His lit up and it didn't seem like he was that sad anymore. I ruffed his hair.
    "Yeah." I looked at my watch and I only have three minutes to get makeup and special effects. Shit!
   "Well, I gotta go Ryō, I promise that I won't be gone long. Promise that you'll smile for me while I'm gone." He nodded at me and smiled all grand like.
   "Of course Hiroaki- I mean Takato." He smiled nervously while scratching the back of his head. I just smiled at his antics and hurried my way to makeup and special effects.

   663 words! (Excluding this outro) Short chapter but, if I went on any longer it would pretty much be expository and I want this little event done so I can move onto the wedding chapters but I still want some Narumiya chapters. I know, I'm complicated. Anyway there's gonna be, I'm pretty sure one chapter left for Narumiya's part and then Spain. Anywho, with that out the way, peace out my peeps.
