~~With the Twins~~

~America's POV~

"Uuuuuugggghhhhhhhh.." I reach for my head, holding it and massaging my forehead. It currently felt like what it'd feel like if your head was a baseball, and said baseball was just hit a homerun.

Something like that.

I opened my eyes but... I couldn't see anything. Was this a dream? But you don't feel pain in your dreams?? It was all just dark. Suck for a person who's afraid of the dark. Luckily I'm not, who can call themselves a hero if they're scared of the dark? ((no offense to people who are scared of the dark.))

I didn't want to move, hell, breathing made this godzilla migraine worse. But, I also didn't just want to be laying down for the rest of my life. And hey, what can a pesky little headache do? I'm America goddammit!

I heaved myself upwards, and immediately regretted my entire existence.

The pain was unbearable, and I felt a tingling in my eyes. I then also felt my face get wet, but I didn't really care about that. I just groaned in my hands; no wonder why the others call me an idiot.

After the pain got less painful, I looked around once again, hearing somebody's breathing. I soon noticed a person lying beside me, looking just dead. But, there was nobody else in the area breathing (i hope), so i figured they were the one doing the in and exhaling.

Their back was towards me, laying on their side. I sighed and started to shake the person, not much though. They probably would have the headache I do if I went crazy with the shaking, and that would just hurt me anyways.

After a little while, I finally heard them being alive other than breathing. The person groaned, flipping around and- oh. Just Mattie.

"A-Al..?" He asked, his voice raspy as he looked up at me. "W-wha... Happened?"

I tried to think, but it hurt too much. I just shrugged soon enough. "I'unno. We were leaving the meeting—"

"Yeah?"

"Aaaaaaaaand now we're here."

Mattie stared at me, not seeming very happy. "Great."

"Hey! It's not my fault!" I said, defending myself. He just had to get mad at me, huh? "I dunno where we are! I dunno what even happened! My head hurts too much."

He sighed and shook his head slowly. "I wasn't blaming you, Al." O h. "Just wondering if you knew. Relax." I just look away, and soon I can feel my face heating up.

"Anyways." He started to talk again, and I glanced over at him to see him now looking around. "What do we do here." He said, to the beat of some make-believe song.

I shrugged and tried to not be as embarrassed. "Uuuhhhhhhhhhh... Well, we can look around, but sitting up was hell. Don't recommend it. Standing and walking-" I felt myself shiver at the thought, slightly shaking my head.

Mattie hummed, thinking. "We can try it. There's nothing else to do really. Just take your time, don't go too fast. Should be fine." I nodded once, and slowly stood up, helping him up too.

But, even with all the slowness and carefulness in the whole world, the height difference just hurt. Suffice to say, both of us held our heads like they were about to roll off our shoulders.

After a painful few moments, I let my head go and started to wander around. There was bound to be something there, right? It can't just be us, in a void... Right..?

I could hear Mattie behind me, though was slower than me — not surprising at all :). In the very far distance, or it was just massive, I could see a door outlined in white, the white was practically blinding. I quickly pulled Mattie towards me, and basically dragged him as I walked. I could hear his confused and annoyed rambling, but I didn't really care right now.

I soon did shush him though, probably pissing him off more but again, don't care. "Mattie, look! There's a door over there, what, think I just start dragging you around randomly?" I said, and he deadpanned. "Alfred, you do that all. The. Time." "Ok ok whatever, now's not about that—" I could feel him pulling an Iggy and staring holes through me, if he was in a Russia mood he'd get his hockey stick, which thank god he doesn't have right now or my head would start to hurt a lot more. "There's a door, Mattie! Maybe we can get out of here!" He sighed and nodded while rolling his eyes, and I started to walk again, now not dragging him.

We get to the door and yep. It was massive. It was like the size of double doors, but there was only one door. It was high up too, and just seemed to be..... There. There were no walls in sight, so the question was, "how the hell was there a door here?", and I honestly had no idea.

"Welp. I wanna get out of here as soon as possible." I stated, grabbing the handle. I could sense that Mattie was anxious, which I get, but being here forever just doesn't sound fun. I grab the handle, and...

Suddenly I also start to feel... Worried. What was behind this door, would it be anything? It was just a door in this black void, the handle felt real in my hand but... Was it even really there? Or were we just that desperate...?

No, that's not how I'm supposed to act. Furrowing my eyebrows and taking in a breath, I pushed open the door, and...

~~WIth the Nations~~ ((suffer. >:D))

Muffled and tired groans could be heard throughout the area. Everybody was just waking up after that short sleep of theirs, confused and on-edge. Once everybody seemed to have returned to the world of consciousness, questions circled around the group of Personifications. One notable question was; where was America (and Canada for the ones who remembered –_–)? After fizzling out of existence, really looking like the two had faded...

Many had pretty bad thoughts for what happened to the North American nations. 'Did they just die?' was one of said thoughts.

Many couldn't help but either get lost in thought, trying to reason their way through what was happening. Some tried to at least investigate where they were exactly, but they also couldn't shake a certain unease within their being.

None knew what to do in this situation, they didn't know anything about the situation at all. Every nation was lost, in one way or another, that was, until, a piece of paper fell from the white abyss above... ((S U F F E R > : D))
