"Ok now your going to feel you ears stinging for about 10 seconds when you wake up but thats the max" Doc signed to me
"Ok" I signed back
I never told anyone but i saved enough money to get the surgery for me to be able to hear again
"Ok now this is sleep gas, its just to lets you fall asleep while we do the surgery"She signed
"Ok" I nodded
AN: I did not feel like looking up how people are able to hear again ion got time for det so just continue 🤸🏽♀️
Three hours later
I fluttered my eyes open instantly closing them again because of the bright lights that were in my face
One of the nurses came to help me sit up as they put an hearing aid in both me ears
She turned the hearing aid on and I instantly was able to hear all the machines and nurses talking
"Can you hear me" The nurse asked
I nodded as tears started to fill my eyes
I could not believe i was able to hear again after so long. Its truly a great feeling
"Now you have to wear these hearing aids for three months and after that you wont need them any more. Your next appointment is in two weeks i will email you the rest of the details" The nurse told me
"Ok" I nodded
Mane I haven't heard my voice in a hot minute
Brenda p.o.v
"Braylon wake up baby" I shook him
He was crying in his sleep which is something he never does especially at his age
"Baby whats wrong" I wiped his eyes
"Its Brook, i think she's in trouble" Told me getting straight to the point
"What do you mea- nvm go put your shoes on" I told him going to my room to get my keys
"Babe im finna go to Brooklyn's house real quick im taking Braylon with me" I told Denzel pecking his lips
I've been seeing Denzel for four months now. I haven't told the kids yet the only person who knows is Braylon
"Something's wrong its 11, i dont like you being outside late" He asked looking me in the eyes but I didn't say anything. I didnt know what to say because he wouldn't understand without me telling him the kid's lifestyle "Its ok tell me when you get back i can tell it's important" He kissed my head
"Ok" I put my shoes on and headed straight for Brooklyns room
He was already done so seeing me he got up and we headed for the door
