Juliette Gilmore had her routine down.
She went to school at Chilton, where she maintained a 4.0 grade point average that was necessary for Yale, she volunteered as a dance teacher at a nearby after school care in her neighbourhood and she had her grandparents; Emily and Richard Gilmore, who have taken care of her since the day she was born.
All things considered, Jules thought she was pretty lucky. She didn't feel too hard pressed that her parents and sister weren't in her life, because for Jules' life was pretty perfect.
Or at least, that was the case until the fateful day when she returned home from school to find her estranged mother sitting in her living room. It doesn't soon too obscene until one stops to think that there is no holiday with which Lorelai Gilmore was forced to come to the Gilmore Manor. Jules knew that exact moment that life as she knew it was going to change and she really didn't feel too good about the changes that were going to occur.
