Yet again, I find myself in the abyss with Shinano.
"Am I slated to die every time? Am I subjected to death after death like that?"
I'm starting to lose a little hope for myself.
"Am I even alive?"
"It's best that you not question that now."
Why can't I help but think that she's really hiding something from me? She's trying especially hard... Do I want to press her yet?
"Oh..."
"What is it Shinano?"
"I've found an interesting parallel, it's one where you don't die."
"Now I'm interested. I'm curious to see how this version of me ended up."
"I won't be able to show you what happens when he dies because well... He died of natural causes. I can however show you the battle that turned him around."
"Then let's see."
I embrace the light this time, knowing this vision Shinano will show me will satisfy me greatly.
