Victor's POV.
After I finished getting ready, I headed to the carriage with my parents for the wedding at the church. Once we made it there, I stood by the altar, feeling uncomfortable for what's coming next. It took five minutes or so for Lady Barkis to appear, wearing Charlotte's wedding dress. "Why Lady Barkis is wearing Charlotte's wedding dress." I yelled whispered at father.

"Does it matter now since Charlotte is not here?" Mother yelled whispered back at me. I was getting more furious about this, first Emmanuel took Charlotte away from me, then I have to married a gold digger wench and now she's wearing Charlotte's wedding dress. "What next?" My thoughts frustrated. I hope there's a sign that Charlotte would come back and stopped the wedding before it's too late. Lady Barkis made it to the altar next to me on my right side and looked at me like I'm her prey. "What?" I snapped at her quietly. "Nothing just thinking about I admired how handsome you are with that suit. You're quite a breath taking." She complimented, still looking at me while I'm feeling uncomfortable.
