I walk out the class down the halls. Ignoring all of the looks from everyone. The fact he cheated, and posted it for everyone to see. That hurts. Hopefully it will blow over soon and everyone will forget about it and focus on new drama.
I feel a presence next to me. I look and see Jamie. He's just walking nodding at people who nod to him. I walk with him enjoying his company.
"How are you?" He asks breaking the silence looking down at me. "I'm okay." "I'm always here if you need me." "Thank you, and for helping me yesterday." "It's okay." He smiles softly his dimples lightly appearing. I then remmeber him beating Garry. I stop in my tracks.
"What's wrong?" He asks standing infront of me towering over my figure. "Why'd you beat Garry? And say all that stuff?" "He deserved it." "I guess." I shrug. "He did. He fucking cheated on you." He's right. "Thanks." I smile sheepishly continuing on our way.
"ZO." I hear a voice behind me. Me and Jamie turn around. Garry. My chest tightens. I don't know what to do.
"I didn't mean what i posted babe, i was drunk an-" "I don't fucking care, you cheated. We're done, don't talk to me again." I snap. I can't forgive him. "But bab-" "You heard her. Go." Jamie glares. Garry looks between the two of us before walking off.
I let out a breath. "Good job Zo, i'm proud of you for standing up for yourself." Why does that make my stomach fill with butterflies. "Thank you."

I haven't been out the house much this week since i found out he cheated. I've been in my room or at school mostly just healing alone how i like it. I'm starting to feel more like myself again after spending time alone.
There's always one thing that gets me out of bed. Family dinner.
My family and Staci's family are all best friends, so we have dinner once a week every sunday.
I crawl out of bed and have a nice long everything shower which i so desperately needed. I put on a cute outfit which always makes me feel better about myself. I let my wavy hair air-dry and I add some light makeup before heading downstairs.

my fit ^^ I put on a big coat for outside. My family hops in the car and do the quick drive to their house. We pull up and go inside being greeted by their family.
I give both of their parents a kiss on the cheek and Staci a tight hug and watch the boys dab up. I give Jamie a nod which he returns. I watch as his eyes linger down my outfit. I feel a soft blush rise on my cheeks.
