I said it once, ill say it again; I do not mean football with men and their tights shorts with their dicks out and helmets, I mean the football that was played during World Cup in 2022.

S O L E I L

Football games between South and North has always been...stressful. But this time? It felt like the tension was up in the sky, especially with all of us being in the same school this time.

When I came to school this morning, it was covered with 'get your tickets' signs- which I didn't need because I already knew the captain of South- and maybe North too.

And also signs of both teams logos.  It was too much. Mascots were running around all day, people were already wearing their jerseys, everyone was nervous.

So was I.

I've avoided Julian, Daniel and Elias all day and it was...not easy. Most of my classes was with them and they were my friends- minus Elias?

I was supporting SouthFields tonight, all the way. But then it made me feel guilty. I should've known to keep my distance with these three, but I know now. Plus, there's still a few weeks till I'm done here. It can't be that hard, right?

"Hey, Alvin." I say, sitting next to her. "So, I haven't been able to ask you but who are you supporting tonight?"

"South, of course." She nods. "But its kind of hard for you, isn't it?"

I huff. "Yes, but I'm also South, I always have been. And Lucas doesn't even know im kind of friends with those three."

Alvin sighs. "I feel like i don't want to go back to South."

I huff. "I hate that I feel that way too."

"We've just gotta make the most of it." She mutters.

I nod. "Definitely."

"So, I may be a dumb lesbian, but I know love when I see it. Elias kind of maybe definitely likes you."

I almost spit my drink out.

"You're kind of maybe definitely a dumb lesbian." I nod, laughing.

"Stop laughing! I'm being serious, Sol."

"It probably cause I'm hot."

"Be serious for once." She says, raising her eyebrows.

I huff. "Fine."

"Elias likes you."

"Elias doesn't like. Elias hooks up." I mutter.

"Now he does."

"What makes you think that? All he does is throw insults at me." I shrug.

"I've seen the way he looks at you. The day you and Mateo were dancing, he was looking at you and you only. He was looking at you like he never wanted to look away. It didn't matter that you were dancing with his brother, he was too busy looking at you. He helped you swim, he got food for you and now he's looking at you again."
