Groaning, I quickly sent him a quick text

Pressing the call button, i put my phone up to my ear
"Hello?", I said with a raspy voice having just woken up.
"Finally, what took you so long" he said annoyed
"Oh I don't know, maybe the fact that I was peacefully sleeping before you disturbed it"
"You do know that it's 10:45 am right?"
I paused, damn that late already?, I lost all sense of time after being grounded, which reminds me will end in 3 days.
"Why did you wake me up to be exact?"
Ignoring his question.
"I need your help with the bar tonight"
"Why, what's wrong with the bar?"
"Nothing......I just have a date so I can't fill in for Eliza" he said hesitantly
"IM SORRY WHAT?!?!!" I said excited for him. "where are you going?, what's her name?, is it someone I know?" Question after question just flew out of my mouth.
Matt's father owned multiple bars across the state, sometimes when the staff has an emergency or can't work Matt steps up. And over the years he also taught me how to play bartender to impress my parents guests. I've occasionally been the local bar's bartender for the past 3 months, is it illegal?, yes. But they didn't do anything about it since who would arrest the Benjamin Morgan's daughter. The pay is good, not like I needed the money but they still payed me.
"Before you freak ou-"
"I AM FREAKING OUT, I NEED DETAILS" I said cutting him off
Sighing, he finally gave in "I met her at your party a few days ago, she goes to biology with us, oh and her name's Zoe"
"AHHHH I'M SO EXCITED" I expressed
"Your excited?, I'm the one who actually needs to go on the date" he said, worry lacing his voice
"My my do you......like her?" A smile forming on my face
"You know I wouldn't have asked her out if I didn't" he stated the obvious "anyways the bar?, do you mind working tonight?"
"Oh Matt you know I would, but I'm still grounded remember?"
"Yeaaaa about that, I talked with your parents and they agreed to let you out just for tonight" I can feel him starting to smile telling me the news
"They did?, YESSSS"
