I won't repeat what's been said in the blurb, but I did want to give a slightly more detailed content warning. This story contains sex work, physical abuse, and coercion (threats to physical safety and blackmail). I won't tag specific chapters, just know that it pops up along the way.
That being said...
I don't think of it as a particularly dark story. The main characters, Cole and Gideon, both try to make the best of the situations they are in, and the majority of the story revolves around how they open up and become a safe place for one another.
As for the BDSM elements, they are both a bit kinky but its not really a story about BDSM practices. It's more about dominance/submission and trust.
This is fully written, but I love these characters so much, and could write so much about them, so if you have any ideas for something you would like to read about, let me know and I might write an interlude for you :)
