CHAPTER 6 - NOOR IS ANGRY

Kya zaroori hai mohabbat mein izhaar karna?

Kyun na padhle hum aankhein,

Aur kar de shuru ek dusre se pyaar karna

ARJUN

I scooped her in my arms and started walking on the streets and she gasped loudly and said

"Ye.....kya kar rahe hain aap? Utarein hume"

[Wh...what are you doing? Put me down]

And she was innocent to think that I am going to obey her.

She can be careless for herself, but I can't.

How do I tell her that I get worried for her, all the time.

"Utaar dein na please, sab dekh rahe hain hume" she said.

[Please put me down, everyone is looking at us]

I looked at her and she showed me her innocent eyes which could make me do anything except being careless for her.

I looked at front and saw people looking at us while giving weird looks, but I ignored them and her and tightening my hold on her, I said

"Dekhne do, mujhe koi farak nahi padta"

[Let them see, I don't care]

"Par hume farak padta hai. Hum kya karein?" she said instatntly.

[But I care, what do I do]

"Tum dekho mat unn logo ko" I said and kept walking while looking for any rickshaw or bullock cart.

[Then don't look at them]

She opened her mouth partly and said " Toh phir kise dekhein hum" she asked innocently.

[Then to whom do I look at]

Mujhe.

Me.

I just shrugged and keep on walking, and she said " Aap kyun humari baat nahi maante"

[Why do you never listen to me

"Baat manne vali bhi toh honi chahiye, Noor. You want me to be careless like you".

[It should be something to listen to]

I said and looked at her whilst she gave me angry looks and said.

" Kya matlab hai aapka, ki hum fizool baat karte hain?"

[What do you mean, that I talk nonsense]

I stop myself from smiling and just gave her the plain look and asked " Kyun, nahi karti ho"

She kept on glaring at me in anger and said " Aap hume bilkul ache nahi lagte, hum aapse kabhi baat nahi karenge".

[I don't like you and I will not talk to you]
