As we sat down in class waiting to get our test results back Stiles was asking all the question that i've been thinking about all day
"If Derek isn't the Alpha, if he's not the one who bit you, then who did?"
Scott just shrugged his shoulders "I don't know"
"Did the Alpha kill the bus driver?"
"I don't know"
"Does Allison's dad know about the-" but before Stiles could even finish the sentence Scott snapped
"I don't know!" causing Stiles to shrink back and the whole class turn their attention on Scott
As the teacher handed our tests back to us I got an A+, Stiles an A and Scott got a D-. damn
"Dude, you need to study more" Stiles has the worst timing "that was a joke. Scott, it's one test. You're gonna make it up"
"You can borrow my notes, I can always help you study" I suggested
"No, It's okay. I'm studying with Allison after school today" oh
"That's my boy" gross
"We're just studying" sure
"Uh-uh. No, you're not"
"No, I'm not?"
"Not if i'm forced to live vicariously through you" double gross "if you go to her house today and squander that colossal opportunity, I swear to God i'll have you de-balled"
"Okay, just stop with the questions, man"
"Done. no more questions. No more talk about the Alpha or Derek. Especially Derek, who still scared me"
"He's hot" I did not just say that "did I say that out loud?"
"Yes" they both replied humorlessly
"Oh please" so they can talk about their sex lives and I can't say one comment

Since Stiles and I both have no plans, we decided to go back to his house and watch Star Wars, his favourite movie franchise. Personally I prefer the marvel movies because hello Bucky, But I let him win this time. Plus when would I ever turn down alone time with Stiles
"Should we grab some popcorn on the way?" Stiles Suggested
"Sure" but before we could even make it out of the car park Derek walked right in front of the jeep causing Stiles to slam on he's breaks "Oh, my God" everyone behind us started beeping their horns
"You gotta be kidding me. This guys everywhere"
Scott ran towards the jeep "What the hell?" Stiles and I both got out of the jeep to help Scott deal with Derek
"What are you doing here?"
"I was shot"
"He's not looking so good dude" way to state the obvious
"Why isn't he healing?" once I said that out loud they all looked up at me "what? I did my research"
"I can't, it was a different kind of bullet"
That immediately grabbed Stiles's attention "A silver bullet?"
"No, you idiot" Derek might be hot but he's also a dick
"Wait. that's what she meant when she said you had 48 hours" Scott finally decided to say
Derek was groaning in pain "What? Who said 48 hours?"
