Invisibility Cloak

Invisibility Cloak

I sit by myself,

Pretending I'm not there,

Imagining wearing an invisibility cloak,

So that I can be alone,

Sometimes it works.

Then I see my friends,

And I can finally take it off,

That cloak of invisibility,

That I seem to wear to much,

But it won't come off,

It's stuck.

I stand there wishing,

Hoping it will come off,

But no matter what I do,

It just won't disappear,

No-one can see me,

No matter how I try,

No-one can see me,

Not even if I wish,

So I'm stuck,

In my cloak of invisibility,

That I seem to wear to much,

So I'm stuck,

In my cloak of invisibility,

Just waiting to be found.
