My little sister is a huge fan of the USWNT (she's seven), especially Moe, Alex, Carli, and Mal. Anyways, she's my little Dash fan (we've got cousins there, thats how we got pulled into that, don't kill me), and today I was reading the roster to her. The look of pure joy on her face when I read those four names was adorable. She also had that same look when I read Carli's, so I asked her why. Her response, "Our dashies are going to the Olympics!!"
We were pulling into the grocery store as she said this, and we were getting icing and cake mix to make a birthday cake for my cousin. Well, the cake mix and icing was buy one get one free, so like any sane person, we got two.
Except the cake mix we got was orange and the icing was blue. We also got orange and blue sprinkles (and by that I mean my sister picked out all of the blue and orange sprinkles because she insisted that those be the only colors).

I'm honestly kinda impressed with us because the last time we tried to cook something we set a glove on fire (long story)
