No, this is obviously not an update, but there are a few things that need to be addressed.

First off: I love all of your comments so much, they make my day, but certain things are just a no-no. You guys can be hilarious, but sometimes you belittle the chapter or just plain ruin it. I can't control what you say of course, but just know that you should choose your words wisely from now on, otherwise they just might be deleted. I've let it slide long enough, & I'm tired of it.

You're all becoming increasingly demanding. I always wait a day before checking to see how an update is doing, & it really sucks when practically every comment says to 'hurry up & update'. I know I don't do so every other day like most authors, but, putting it simply, I have other priorities. And I try my best to be nice & respond to every single one of you, I try to be friendly, but it always backfires & ends up affecting my mood greatly. I shouldn't have to pretend to be something I'm not on here for the sake of approval from people I don't even know. I'll still respond, just not as often as usual. And especially if I see something particularly amusing.

Secondly: I looked through previous chapters & in every Author's Note I'm apologizing for something. How fucked up is that? This story was supposed to be something I enjoyed writing just for fun, but instead it's something I constantly worry about not being good enough. I put so much time into this story & hardly anyone acknowledges it. Nobody even says anything when a chapter is dedicated to them... I'm not going to demand a certain amount of comments/votes, because that's taking it too far in my opinion, but I honestly would like to know your thoughts. You've no idea how terrible & sad I always feel after posting a new chapter.

Third: I've seen so many rants & what not about being 'sick & tired' of vampire stories, especially when they have to do with One Direction & werewolves & demons. This story happens to have all of those things, & I'm not gonna lie, it's disheartening. Now do you get why I constantly procrastinate & question people's love for this book? Is it absolutely necessary to talk down on someone else's work like that, 'joke' or not? Think. What's an 'overly-used cliche that needs to just stop already' to you might be a form of escapism for someone else.

Fourth: I feel honored that some of you actually want my opinion on your stories, & I want to make sure everyone gets noticed, but don't just use me to get free promotion. I'm trying to be nice here.

Lastly: I may not have 20,000 fans & 1,000,000+ reads on any of my stories, nor do I have people constantly writing on my message board & in private messages telling me how perfect I & said stories are, but I'm happy with what I do have. I want to make you all happy too, but I can't when the very thing that will help do so is becoming something I'd rather avoid.

I didn't want to be one of those authors with rules & stuff, but now I get why they act harsh in a way. Know that I hate it & I feel terrible for even having to post this. I don't even want to think of how it would be if I did have 20,000 fans & 1,000,000+ reads.
