The official version of this is on Tapas, and if you want to support the author/artist, read it on there. There is also a wait-or-pay feature on the comic so you can get a free episode every three days. If you're the impatient type when it comes to the free episodes, I recommend collecting your free episode every three days but not reading them until you have a good stockpile of them ready to binge through. If not, there's also the free fan translated version on MangaRock with the original Chinese names (Skye-->Ming Lan).

Description:

Adopted into a strange family to replace their recently deceased daughter, Skye hasn't had it easy. Her brothers torment her daily and her new adoptive mother is terminally ill. Can Skye survive and finally seize her own happiness?

It starts off as a somewhat sweet story (if you can call it sweet) with childhood friendships and coming of age stuff before they all get older and the story matured along with the characters' ages. Things begin to get a whole lot darker, involving deaths, betrayal, rich people schemes, and those fancy private schools.

Yep, my kind of thing. The correct dose of fluff in the beginning when they're all in elementary school, and then the real action drama afterward when they're the appropriate age. There's a real story here and no aimless plot. The characters each have their own distinct personality and are lovable in their own way.

I'm gonna admit that the chapters come off as a bit short on Tapas because the original Chinese chapters are split into two to fit Tapas' length requirement. But if you've got nothing better to do and have Tapas, just go and collect the free episodes for this comic every three days. One day you might be bored and want to try it, and you'll only regret that you hadn't found it sooner or you might have unlocked even more episodes by now.
