Part 21 || familiar

Y/N's POV

Y/N: "who's Heeseung?" They looked scared to answer.

Jake: "oh nothing nothing" they chuckled nervously "he's just an old friend you haven't met before"

Y/N: "oh but then why'd you say it was kinda awkward between you two?"

Yeji: "it's nothing!" She answered immediately "they just had a small argument no big deal!" She said chuckling "you know how boys are" ahhh I see

Y/N: "yeah but when I get discharged what should we do? Oh let's meet up with Enhypen I miss them so much!"

Jake: "sure but how about a makeover? You know to feel refreshed and stuff" I smiled widely at the idea

Yeji: "yeah like a new start! We can go shopping for clothes and what not"

Y/N: "great! Let's do it!"

We talked for a while and it was really fun talking to them.

Y/N: "can I see how they look now! I wonder if Sunghoon is still taller than me. I miss skating with him!"

Yeji: "he does too, everytime we visit him skating we rarely see him smile. He says that all his competitors are easy to beat but not you" I rolled my eyes

Y/N: " *tsk* such an arrogant boy" Yeji and I both laughed

Jake: "here we took this picture a few months ago" they showed me a group photo with all of them smiling. It made me kinda sad I wasn't there but I was happy that they were happy and I wasn't much of a burden. There was one person though who wasn't smiling

Y/N: "who's that? He doesn't seem happy" I pointed to a cute little boy with big eyes... curiously very familiar eyes

Jake: "o-oh thats Heeseung the old friend" I nodded

Y/N: "can I see a picture of him smiling?"

Yeji: "well he doesn't smile much... ever since you were in a coma" she said the last part quietly but I couldn't fully hear

Jake: "yeah he doesn't but this is us a while back" he showed me his phone with him smiling.

That smile... it was the most charming smile I've ever seen. Those eyes... I could get lost in them. I didn't realize it but I was smiling

Jake: "why're you smiling?" I look up at him as he said that

Y/N: "I don't know it's just he's- never mind"

Yeji: "oh and here's a video of us ice skating- well trying to ice skate with Sunghoon"

*in the video*

Heeseung: "yah! Sunghoon! Don't leave me here! I'm not good at skating!"

Yeji: "yah you totally suck!" Yeji said from the background while skating really well

Sunoo: "skate faster Heeseung!"

Heeseung: "I'm trying!"

Jay: "WoAh!!" The camera shifted to Jay falling on the ice and hitting his butt which caused me to chuckle

Niki: "Jay hyung~ remember your mom said stop with the embarrassing moments!" The others laughed and I laughed as well

Y/N: "I wish I was there" I pouted

Jake: "yeah us too" something was bothering me so I thought I'd sleep first

Y/N: "hey guys? Just come back for me later or tomorrow. I feel like sleeping first" they nodded and stood up

Yeji: "call us if you need anything" she said before closing the door.

I sighed staring at the ceiling. I've heard his voice before.... I've heard Heeseung's voice. Do I know him? But Jake oppa said he was an old friend and I haven't met him yet. His voice did remind me of something

Y/N's POV

Everything was quiet and I couldn't hear anyone. I tried moving but I can't. Something was pulling me down but at the same time there was nothing. Everything was pitch black and I couldn't make a sound.

Heeseung: "you know I just didn't realize it but slowly I was falling in love with you..." wait that voice... that's Heeseung! "I knew we were enemies but I couldn't stop my feelings. My feelings that told me I love you" he loves me? I wanted to get up and hug him and tell him I love him too but I couldn't move any body part at all "happy birthday y/n" then I couldn't hear the voice anymore

Wait- Wait! WAIT!

Was it him? From when I was in a coma? Nahhh I don't think so... it's all fuzzy now like a dream. It's probably not him. I brushed my thoughts away and went to bed

Jake's POV

As we exited her room we went over to the hospital desk.

Jake: "hi, I'd like to pay the bill for the patient in room 203" she nodded and took out some papers

Worker: "so you're total will be $20,000" what? That's too cheap! Y/n was in the hospital for a year shouldn't the price be at like $100,000?!

Jake: "wait are you sure?"

Worker: "yes room 203 right? Sim Y/N? She was in a coma for a year?" I nodded and brought out the check and paid for it

Yeji and I exited the hospital in confusion

Yeji: "that was oddly cheap right?" She said getting in the car

Jake: "yeah but she did double checked"

Yeji: "that's so weird" I agreed and we drove off
