Chapter 1.1: Girl Meets Texas

Lucas POV

"WHO IS SHE AND WHY DID SHE KISS YOU?!?!?!" I hear Riley and Maya yell.

"Oh crap..." I say under my breath and Amelia giggles at me.

"Well guys this is Amelia, also known as the love of my life."

"Hi," she says smiling.

Amelia POV

I see the blonde and brunette staring at me and looking back at each other. Then I see another boy just standing there with his mouth dropped and staring at me. Then I look to my left and there stands Zay. Oops I almost forgot he was here . I walk over and hug Zay.

"Oh Zay, how I missed my best friend once he decided to up and leave Texas," I say.

"Ya, ya, whatever. I did miss you though it was weird we didn't have you there with us." Zay said.

"It must've because it felt weird without you guys here too."

We pull away from our hug and I still see that boy staring at me. I walk over to Lucas and ask,

"Is that your friend Farkle you've been telling me about? If it is, why is he just staring at me?"

"Ohh, he's found his third." Lucas replied.

"His third? What does that mean?"

"He's been in complete love with Riley and Maya since they were younger and now that he's met you, you are now his third love," Zay replies.

"Ummm ok....."

I walk over to Farkle and tap him. He doesn't reply. I wave my hand in front of his face. Still no reply. Since I get no reply I say, "Hi, you must be Farkle right. You're Lucas' new best friend."

After I said that I got a reply.

"Y-ya I'm F-Farkle," he says looking at me in a trance.

"Oh umm cool," I said feeling a little uncomfortable under his stare and walked away. I walk over to the blonde and brunette to say hello.

Riley POV

I see this beautiful blonde girl walk in and run to hug Lucas. I was wondering who she was and I thought she was just another friend from Texas like Zay. I couldn't believe how pretty she was but she wasn't as pretty as Maya. Then, I saw them kiss and I heard my heart break. I guess that's why Lucas said no to me dating him and all that stuff, but I wish he would have told us he had a girlfriend. Well after they have their moment Maya and I happen to yell at the same time

"WHO IS SHE AND WHY DID SHE KISS YOU?!?!?!"

Maya POV

I see this pretty blonde run in and I'm just thinking who is that. I mean she's pretty, but she isn't as pretty as Riley and me. She jumps into Lucas' arms and straight away I know they are dating. I wonder why he didn't tell us he had a girlfriend. Then they kissed. It was like I could feel and hear Riley's heartbreak. It was killing me. I wish he would have told us that he had a girlfriend before Riley developed her crush. So after their moment me and Riley simultaneously yell,

"WHO IS SHE AND WHY DID SHE KISS YOU?!?!?!"

Amelia POV

When I see the two girls I say

"Hi!! You guys must be Riley and Maya. I've heard a lot about you!!"

"Yep I'm Riley and she's Maya."

"Yep. It's nice you've heard about us, but we haven't heard about you." Maya says.
