Chapter fifteen
Meredith's POV *getting ready*
"Go take a shower while we get everything ready." Mom orders.
I get in the shower and wash up and all that good stuff. When I get out, I wrap myself in a towel and I'm immediately sat in a makeup chair.
Caroline starts my hair while Bekah does my makeup. Care leaves my hair naturally curly but works in a braid. Bekah puts silver eyeshadow, pinkish-purple lipstick,black mascara, silver eye liner, sparkles, and a small amount of blush on me. After they're done, Mom helps me into my clothes while Bonnie packs my purse with my phone, cash, my ID, my mascara and lipstick. Then Bon hands me my heels. As I go to cheek the time, there is a knock on the door. I move to go get the door but Caroline stops me,
"No. This is going to be dramatic"
"Hello, may I help you? " she asks forging surprise.
" I'm, um, here to pick up Meredith? "he asks more than says.
I try my hardest not to laugh. I mean come on, if the big bad hybrid was at your door stuttering, you'd want to laugh too!
"hmm I'm not sure if she's here, "Caroline says trying to get on his nerves.
So, to get on Caroline's nerves, I yelled down the stairs,
" Forbes! You're gonna make me late!"
Klaus chuckles at this and I can practically hear his smirk and Caroline's glare.
She huffs and says
"Fine," then she cheers up again, " And now presenting Meredith, I don't know your middle name, Cullen."
I glare at her.
"McCarty, excuse me." She corrects herself and I smile.
"Bye y'all, don't wait up!" I say knowing that they'll interrogate me when I get back.
Caroline gives me a 'yeah right' look.
"It was worth a shot" I say and then sigh.
Klaus just laughs at me.
********************************************* In the car...
"So, any chance you're gonna tell me where we're going?" I ask.
"No chance." he says with a smirk
"Jerk" I mumble.
" I heard that!" he says in mock hurt.
I simply laugh.
"Time to get out"he says
We get out and I stare in awe.
"Whats wrong? Don't you like it?" klaus asks suddenly not as cocky as before.
I turn and look at him slowly.
"No, I don't like this," he starts cussing under his breath.
I laugh, "You didn't let me finish! I LOVE it. I've always wanted to go to an amusement park!" I scream.
He looks at me like a was crazy, which would be corret. I smile at him.
"Okay then...." he trails off.
Then, we walk up to the gates and I go to grab my wallet but he grabs it out of my hands.
"hey! give it-" he cut me off, " I asked you on a date not the other way around, I'm paying!"
he said with a stern tone.
I huff and roll my eyes, but quickly smile again when I see the sign for the Fury325.
*Yes, I know there isn't a Carowinds in Virginia but this is fictional so please go with it*
I turn to look at him,
"Can we ride that first?Please?" I ask while giving him the puppy eyes.
He looks at me amused,"
Of course Love." I squeal and run to the line.
"What are you doing?" I ask as I watch him go up a different flight of stairs.
"Well love, I bought Fast Lane tickets" he says with a smirk
"Awesome sauce!" I yell at him before smiling and running up to him.
He smiles at me and fastens the braclet around my wrist. I beam up at him.
We get on the ride and I can hear the people behind me praying for their lives.
Klaus and I though, we were laughing our heads off.
Once we got off the ride, the people who were sitting behind us glared at us which only made us laugh even more. Then we decide to eat, we go to this place by the boardwalk and get some philly cheese nachoes along with the most amazing fries, I think they're called crabfries.
Afterwards, we rode ride after ride until the park closes. Me being me, fell asleep in car.
I woke up being carried bridal style. I looked up and he smiled at me.
"You don't have to carry me, I know i'm heavy."
"Heavy? Who the hell told you that? You could gain some weight!" he says
"Well the Cullens said it all the time and then i'm sure others thought it-"
he shut me up by kissing me. And let me tell you, fireworks exploded. I know that sounds really girly but I don't really care because it's the truth.
Afterwards he said,
" Thank you for the wonderful evening Mrs.McCarty and I hope we can do this again soon," before giving me a smaller, more gentle kiss, sitting me on the porch and leaving.
Then, something horrible happened....
Caroline opened the door and pulled me in.
