"Is this a new recipe?"

"Not entirely. It's a recipe which I've known for a while now that I recently decided to make. Though I've begun to learn a few new recipes here in Vegas... There's a lot to learn."

"I see. Then I'll look forward to testing out those recipes."

"Whatever fits your appetite I suppose."

"And I see you've made a new friend as well." Artoria can only chuckle a bit as she stares at her former Master. Staring at the little partner that is balancing on his shoulder with ease.

"Don't even get me started with this one."

"Meow."

Archer looks over to the side and stares at the cat on his shoulder. Seriously, what is it with this cat?

"See? I feel like it understands me and is only here to annoy me."

"Meow~"

"It seems to enjoy being with you. When did you
meet it?"

"Hmm..." Archer crosses his arms and begins to think. "It was early afternoon when I encountered this little guy. It somehow sneaked its way into the kitchen. Turns out it was hungry. So I decided to give it something to eat, that way it won't annoy me or just go away afterward."

"It seems It's done the exact opposite."

"Meow."

"O-oh." Artoria could only feel surprised as she felt as the cat jumped off of Archer's shoulder and onto her own. "Quite the fellow I see..." Artoria mumbled.

"Would you look at that? It seems that even animals praise the King. How amusing..." Archer says. Staring at the scenery in front of him. Going quiet as he takes a break from work. Even on vacation, he continues to cook. A specialty that makes him forget life one more time.

The only thing capable of helping him suppress and relax his emotions. Just talking to the very Servant he summoned and interacting with those he once knew but woe his heart of tin.

Seriously, how laughable he feels. And how much of a pain everything is. He came here for a vacation, but all he got was even more stress and PTSD.

Well... So long as there's no tension between the two.  Then the very little things are all but okay... The two of them were distant. Both understanding each other and wishing the other a farewell. There are no words that need to be spoken between them. None whatsoever...

With that, he faded away in bliss.

Artoria who looked on at the empty spot of the man who once stood at was empty. A saddened smile escaped from her lips but she understood all too clearly.

Still... He didn't have to dump this cat with her.

"Meow..."

"Agreed. He just needs time of his own."

"Meow."

"You remind me of Cath Palug a lot..." Artoria mumbled then she frowned, a memory of Merlin appeared in her. "You do love causing trouble... You better not be planning anything in the shadows." Artoria whispered, though for extra precaution. She'll Excalibur, Merlin just in case.

"Good grief... It feels pleasant not having that hairstyle..." Archer looked at himself in the small mirror he projected. His hair slicked back to its spiky-like nature and he wore but his armor, besides his holy shroud. "Hmm..." Archer continued to stare at his reflection.

"Fuhahaha!"

Why must this hairstyle resemble the egoistic King of Heroes...

Sigh
