"Where are you taking me?" I asked, as she was dragging me to her car.

"We're going shopping." She replied.

"Why?"

"You need some new clothes!"

"I do not!" I look down at myself. "Yeah, maybe I do."

"See? You're lucky I'm buying."

We got to the mall and went straight to Forever 21.

"Here, take this." She said. "And this."

"This is too much." I said.

"Good!"

"Angelica.."

"Oh my god! Those shoes!" She squealed.

"No, no, Angelica. No more."

"They're perfect!"

"I don't know how to wear heels." I told her.

"You'll learn! Now, try all these! And show me!"

We got in the dressing room and I did not know which one to put on first.

"Try the polka dot shirt with the black skater shirt!" She shouted.

I picked it up and looked at it.

"It's pretty cute." I said to myself.

"I told ya!" She said.

I tried it on and came out.

"Oh my god!" she squealed. "You look.. beautiful! Take off your glasses!"

"But I can't-"

She took them off anyways. She took down my ponytail.

"Hey-"

"Shh. Now, turn around and look in the mirror."

I did as told and looked at myself. Wow, I do look beautiful.

"But I can barely see." I told her.

"We'll get you contacts." She said. "Now, try the other outfits."

I went back and tried on the light pink romper.

I came out.

She put a thumbs up. "Perfect."

I went back in and tried on a muscle tee with leggings and a long cardigan.

I came out and she said, "Yes, girl!"

I went back and tried on a floral crop top and some shorts.

I came out and said, "People can see my stomach."

"We'll get you high waisted shorts instead."

After we got done shopping, we went to go get contacts. Angelica nearly spent $2000 on me.

We got home. "Thanks.." I said.

"No problem!" She said. "Now.. your hair."

"What are you going to do?" I ask.

"We're... going to dye it."

"What?" I exclaimed. "But I like my natural dark brown hair."

"I know! I like it too! We're just.. going to ombré it, that's all." She told me.

"Uh.. okay?"

She took hair dye from her luggage.

"Thank god, I had some."

After hours and hours of making me over, she was now done.

"Alright! You can look now." She told me.
