~The Next Day~

Vienna entered the compound to see Thor standing there, she frowned and walked towards him. As she circled around Vienna got her first look at him. She held in her shock but it was difficult to see him in that state. Thor had always been the avenger with the most hope, the last couple years must have affected him more than they thought. Her attention was pulled by the sound of clanking as her eyes settled on Rocket. He was underneath the large platform that would be used for time travel. Tony had explained how it worked but Vienna didn't care enough to listen. She wandered over just in time to hear Tony launch and insult at the raccoon before rolling her eyes and stepping away.

Vienna ended up in a different room, inside was Rhodes, Nebula, Bruce and Scott. The mini man was dressed in a new time travel suit and as Vienna entered she eyed it. Vienna didn't know a single thing about suits but she wanted to look for flaws anyway. As she studied Scott he scolded Bruce for almost fumbling a red test tube.

"Easy, easy. Careful with those." Scott warned, Hulk waved him off before being interrupted, "You're being very Hulky. These are Pym Particles. You can't shrink to the Quantum Realm without them, and since Hank Pym got snapped out of existence, we can't make any more. I told you. We've only got enough for one round trip each, no do-overs." Then he gently clicked the tubes into their housing, "Plus two test runs,"

Then he suddenly disappeared and Vienna only managed to shift forward before he reappeared with an embarrassed look on his face, "One test run."

Vienna scoffed, showing her disdain and he added, "Okay, maybe I'm not ready."

Then a familiar voice sounded from the doorway, "I'm game." Vienna turned with a half smile on her face to see Clint Barton.

"Well damn Katniss, I thought you'd never show up." Then she walked up to him and grasped his hand with a true smile, "And it's a nice offer but i'm going to do it." Vienna revealed and when she turned back around there was shock written on everyone's face.

Vienna stood in the middle of the lab, She had put the time suit on and was watching Bruce slide the pym particles in. Nebula was working on something else with the suit and Scott was looking at her with disappointment. Then bruce said, "Okay, Vienna, you might feel a little disoriented when you chronoshift-"

But he was quickly interrupted by one of Rhodes' theories, "Hang on, I've got to ask, if we can do this, why don't we just go find baby Thanos and, you know --" Then Rhodey lifted his hands to his neck and made a strengling gesture.

Bruce's eyes widened, "Uh, one, because that's horrible. And, two, killing baby Thanos doesn't kill adult Thanos. Time doesn't work like that. You can't change the future by changing the past."

"Sure, we can. We take the stones before Thanos gets them, then he doesn't have them. Problem solved." Scott added

Nebula quickly corrected both of them, "That's not how it works."

"I don't know. That is kind of what I've heard-" Clint said from the corner.

Bruce rolled his eyes and asked, "Heard from who?"
"Star Trek. Terminator. Bill and Ted's Excellent --" Rhodes began listing movies.

Bruce groaned and raised his voice, "WHY DOES EVERYONE THINK THIS? THAT'S NOT TRUE. IF YOU TRAVEL TO THE PAST, THEN THAT PAST HAS BECOME YOUR PRESENT, AND YOUR FORMER PRESENT HAS BECOME THE PAST, WHICH NOW CAN'T BE CHANGED BY YOUR NEW FUTURE!"

"Exactly." Nebula looked up

Scott's jaw dropped and he leaned towards Vienna and whispered, "Apparently, Back to the Future is bullshit."
