Day 17

Coffee Date

This was the result of a game of truth or dare, Damian had been dared to go on a blind date  by Jason. That would be set up by Dick and he would have no idea who it was till he got there. The only reason he agreed was to show his brothers that he was not a coward adn to show them he wasn't afraid of anything.

Marinette's love life was non existent Alya's words not hers she. Marinette had gotten over Adrien a long time ago seeing as she realised he would never feel the same way she did, seh slowly got over him it hurt at first but once she did the pain slowly went away and all it was now was an embarrassing memory of a highschool crush.

Alya had offered to set up a blind date for Marinette and she agreed so Alya would leave her love life alone, here she was 10 minutes early dressed black and white striped shirt with a teal green skirt, along with a white bow in her hari and some white flats.

Her outfit

Damian walked into the cafe and went to a booth in the corner near a window, soon a waiter came to take his order. "I am waiting for someone" he said and the waiter left saying he would come back once his friend had arrived.

Damian's perspective

I looked around for whoever my date was, 5 minutes passed and a girl came in dressed in a black and white shirt with a teal coloured skirt, she looked around and then spotted me she walked up to me. "Um sorry to bother you, are you here for a blind date??" she asked shyly and blushed looking at the ground. It was kind of cute.

"Yes I am, you must be my date" I said and got up and pulled out the chair for her, Pennyworth would have my head if I didn't. "Thanks, I'm Marinette you are?" she asked. I was shocked everyone knew who I was but she didn't. She was different and she was intriguing.

"Damian" I said and it got me curious why I was being so nice to her.

Marinette's perspective

I walk into the cafe and look around for a seat and all the tables are full so I think my blind date must already be here, I see two guys sitting at tables by themselves ones on his phone near the middle of the cafe and the other sitting in the ocner looking out the window I walk towards him.

He was wearing a green turtleneck sweater with black pants. He had his black hair gelled back and he had tanned skin and emerald green eyes.

"Um sorry to bother you, are you here for a blind date??" I was unsure if this was the guy I was supposed to meet, "yes I am, you must be my date" he says, then he got up and he pulled out a chair for me.

"Thanks, I'm Marinette you are?" I ask if he seems confused but answers "Damian" he says I feel like I've seen his face somewhere but it wasn't for fashion or I would remember him but it was probably someone else.

We both ordered and talked as our food came. We had a lot in common. We were both vegetarian and loved animals. He had three pets: a cat, a dog and a cow. He had four older brothers and they were all adopted. He was the only blood son.

He was in university like me and was also taking a business course but instead of it going along with fashion like me he was taking it so he could take over his fathers company when he retired.

Just as we were finishing we both got a text.

Alya
Marinette I am so sorry he didn't show up he called last minute saying he couldn't make it

Marinette
Who couldn't come to Alya?

Alya
Adrien, he was your date. I'm so sorry girl he's dead when I see him

Marinette
Wait my date was Adrien

Alya
Yes, why?

Marinette
I just went on a date with Damian he said he was also here on a blind date

Alya
WHAT!!!!!

Marinette
I'll talk to you about this later bye

Alya
Yeah, you can explain what happened then, bye

I then closed her phone and looked at Damian who had just put away his phone two.

Damian's perspective

I was talking with Angel when both our phones pinged we both grabbed them she was texting back a reply as I saw a message from Todd

Text messages

Todd
Demonspawn why did I just get a text that your date was leaving and had been waiting for an hour

Damian
What do you mean, I am on the date with Marinette right now

Todd
Who's Marinette? Your dates name was Olivia

Damian
You set me up on a blind date and told me nothing about who I was meeting.

Todd
Ok, so I should have been clear, but your telling us everything when you get back

Damian
I do not need to tell you anything.

I put my phone down just as Angle does the same. We continued talking and soon came to the topic about how we were both supposed to meet someone else, apparently her date had been cancelled and she was only just told.

As I go to pay the bill she insants that she do it, "fine you may pay Angel '' I say and she blushes at the name while she grabs her purse from her bag. I give my card to the waiter and he leaves with it. "You already paid, didn't you?" she asks and I nodded and she pouts.

"Would you like to do this again?" I ask her and a small smile makes its way onto her face "I would like that, could I get your number? '' she asks and she gives me her phone. I type in my number and save it under Damian. I send a text to myself saying hello and it pops up on my screen.

"Thanks" she says, and soon the waiter comes back with my card and we leave. I offer to walk her home but she declines saying she only lives two blocks from here. I bid her a farewell and she does the same. She then gets on her tiptoes and kisses my cheek.

"Thank you Damian I had a great time" she says blushing slightly it takes me a minute to realise what had happened. "No problem Angel I'm glad you had fun" I say and with that marinette waves before crossing the street.

I slowly started walking back to the place where she kissed me. I am shocked by what she did and also am intrigued by her but one thing I keep wondering is how she would treat me if she found out I am Wayne.

How was the chapter? Anyway, today's question was random and I made it up after seeing a comment one of you guys left on a different chapter so I figured I would ask you that, so today's question is...

Question: If you would want a part two for any chapter which one would it be?

Also today my sister and I were playing truth and dare and she dared me to try and get 100 followers by the end of the year and I need 15 more before I get there and I was hoping you all would help me. If I don't make it I have to do anything she wants for an entire day.
