Gerard would try to connect his child in any way he could. He had no problem babying them and being all cute with them. Any chance he got he was holding the baby. Or rocking them to sleep. Y/N had learned that it was more helpful to let the child cry at night. So the baby wouldn't cling to the parents so much.
But Gerard got up any time of the night to comfort the baby. The moment they picked up a crayon or pencil Gerard got excited. Wanting to teach the baby everything he knew. Y/N chuckled the drawing the baby did was just a blob of colors and shapes. "That's beautiful are you gonna be an artist just like Daddy?" he cooed.
