Two days passed and Suyeong was sitting on the dining table with her parents beside her. She quietly waited for their answer when she told them about her applying for the scholarship when she slid the consent form on the table

They looked at each other and nodded

"Go for it"

Mrs. Hong sternly said, closing her eyes as Suyeong gasped with wide eyes

"Really? Can I really apply for it?!"

"Of course!"

Mrs. Hong said, patting her shoulders as she spoke

"My daughter ought to pursue her dream. We'll sign the consent right now"

She smiled, thanking her as Mr. Im spoke with a proud face

"Gosh. I'm gonna miss my daughter"

She laughed

"Dad. I'm just applying for it. I'll know the result once I go to the interview. It's not confirmed yet"

"Who said that you're not gonna get it? You will. I'll make sure of it"

Mrs. Hong said, making her laugh

"Okay, Gosh. Thank you for the support, though. I'll get the forms back after you sign them. Mr. Han needs it by the end of the week"

They nodded with a smile as she walked away to her room with excitement. Now that was solved, she wanted to share the news with Jugyeong but couldn't find her in her room. She opened the door, flinching softly when Heekyung and her twin sitting beside each other with gloomy faces

"What are you guys doing out here? It's so cold"

She said, joining them as she sat on the ground in front of them, totally forgetting about her excitement earlier. The news can hold, but her sisters' feelings can't

They're too important for her

"Both of us are going through a hard time right now"

Jugyeong said as Heekyung nodded

"What's wrong?"

"What's the matter with me?"

Jugyeong started as they replied

"What do you mean?"

"Every time something happens, I always ended up hiding because I was too scared. That makes things more complicated, and I end up hurting people even though I don't mean to. Why can't I just be honest from the start?"

Heekyung then replied

"I can be careless at times too. And you get scared too easily. From now on, try being more honest. Look what happened to dad"

They looked at the older girl as she continued

"He should've just told us that he got scammed! But he tried to handle it on his own, only to end up with a bigger debt. And because of that, we had to sell out apartment and move back here"
