Anfa's POV:

"Why are you feeling so dull, girl?" I turned to Zahira hearing her and shook my head. We are sitting in a room which was empty. Actually, it's break time and we are having rest right now. I didn't bring anything to eat. Appi was not there then who will prepare the tiffin for me.

"Nothing. I'm perfectly alright." I said smiling at her and she shook her head.

"You are not. You are lying. Tell me the truth." She said glaring at me and I sighed.

"Appi." I gulped the lump which formed in my throat and closed my eyes to hide my tears.

"What about her? Everything okay between you two?" She asked holding my hand and I looked at her.

"She got married and left for her house last night. I'm missing her." I said wiping my tears and her eyes widened.

"So, Ammi was not wrong." She said and I looked down closing my eyes. I hope you are doing fine, Appi. I wrapped my arms around her when I felt her hugging me. I really didn't know that I'll miss my Appi so much. Ya Allah. Just keep her happy wherever she is. And make me something soon so that I can find her as soon as possible.

I opened my eyes with much difficulty when that stupid ring of my mobile blasted near my ear. I picked it up and was about to snooze it but my eyes jolt open when I found Bhai's name flashing on the screen. What the hell? Why is he calling at 4 of the morning?

"Bhai, you okay? Everything okay? Why are you calling at this time? Did something happened?" I bombarded him with questions as soon as I picked the call up.

"Anfi? Why are you awake till now?" He asked and I frowned.

"I wasn't awake. But if you call me at this time then I'll definitely wake up." I said rolling my eyes and heard him sighing.

"I called to talk to Appi. We usually talk at this time." He said and I sighed.  Just a mention of her makes me cry.

"I want to talk to you about something." I said while getting out of bed and walked towards the balcony.

"Yes, little one. Go ahead." He said making me smile. Now only he is the one who can make me smile.

"Appi... Appii.."

"What about Appi, girly?" I closed my eyes to stop the tears forming in my eyes.

"Appi got married yesterday." I said with closed eyes while tears fell down on my cheeks.

"What are you saying, girl?" I heard him and sighed.

"Hm. Mom and Dad informed her about her marriage in the morning. And her Nikah was in the evening." I said while my voice shaking. I bet he knows that I'm crying.

"And why wasn't I aware of this?" He asked in firm tone and I sighed.

"She told me not to tell you. You went there after working a lot. You shouldn't come here till you complete your studies, Bhai." I said looking at the stars. My lips smiled seeing them shining so beautifully. Masha Allah.

"Damn."

"Bhai, let's just do what she has told us to. She told me to come and meet her after becoming something. Let's go together. We'll be completing our studies in some years." I said wiping my tears and heard him sighing.

"You are telling me not to come there?" I smiled hearing him.

"Hm. You come here when you are done with your studies. Then we'll go together to meet her. She has worked hard a lot for us." I said remembering her. I miss you, Appi. A lot.
