Azlaan's POV:
Night.
I was sitting on my bed with closed eyes while resting my head on the headrest and was trying to get rid of his thoughts but my mind wasn't letting me. I have ignored the fact that Hasnain was my friend all these time but now my mind is continuously thinking about him. Its mocking me all the time that I failed in realizing his real face. I closed my eyes and all the moments flashed in front of my eyes which we spent together. Our first meeting. Our first fight and we end up not talking to each other for two days. It was the longest fight we ever had. The first match we played together. He was the one who taught me how to play soccer. All these are haunting me. I opened my eyes when I felt a hand on my cheek. I turned to her to find her looking at me with frowns.
"Everything okay?" She asked and I shook my head.
"We got the evidence against Hasnain today." I said wiping my cheeks which were wet and looked at her whose eyes widened.
"Really?"
"Yep."
"Then you should be happy. Why are you crying?" She asked caressing my cheek and I chuckled.
"He was my friend, love. I don't want to do anything bad with him. He might have not considered me as his friend but I always found a brother in him." I said shaking my head and closed my eyes which filled up with tears again. I'm hating myself for being emotional right now.
"Its okay. You deserve justice." I heard her whispering in my ear and hugging me making me close my eyes.
"Hm. I know. Even not for me, I have to do it for two reasons." I said remembering Aaradhya's words.
"For two reasons?" I nodded my head at her who pulled away with frowns.
"Yes. First, I want to clear my name not for myself, but for our future kids. You remember Abaan sent you a picture of a girl standing beside me?" She nodded her head and I smiled.
"She told me that I have to clear my name for my kids because in future they'll be bullied as being a criminal's kids. I don't want that." I said shaking my head and she smiled widely making me chuckle.
"And what's the second reason?" She asked and I sighed.
"He forced himself on that girl's elder sister. I want him to get punished at least for that reason. No matter how strong you are, you shouldn't show your strength in bed but by being beside your spouse on every ups and downs. That's what strength is. What he did is wrong and he should be punished for that. I don't know if law will do that or not but I'll definitely make him pay for that." I closed my eyes when I felt her lips on my head. I wonder how that girl is. My wife was just touched and it affected her mentally so badly that she gets attacks then that girl was raped. Oh Allah. Please keep every girl safe from these things.
After few weeks.
I looked up when the door of my cabin opened with a loud noise and frowned when Rahul was trying to stop someone.
"Sir, he isn't listening." He said and I nodded my head. He left and I looked at him who stood in front of me while glaring at me and I smirked.
"Remember, I told you. The tables will turn around one day. You are glaring at me and I'm smirking." I said smirking at him while he glared at me. But before he could say anything the door again opened and came my wife making me frown.
"Azlaan you-" Her eyes widened looking at Hasnain. She kept looking at him for some time and then her chest started heaving up and down. My eyes widened finding her like that. I got up from my seat and ran to her whose eyes started closing down while tears started coming from her eyes. I held her who was about to fall.
