(THIS CHAPTER WILL BE RIKU'S BACKSTORY)

Riku's POV
I was only in the sixth grade
We we're having a test until a teacher came to get me and took me to the office
"We got news that your mother passed away in an accident"
And suddenly my confusion was gone
"I don't believe you"
Later on my aunt picked me up
"Riku, you'll be living with us from now on"
"Me and mom right?" I asked
"Riku, your mom is dead"
"No, I don't believe it, she's still here"
"Riku..."
"You're so stupid! Your mom is dead so just shut up" the younger Tetsuro Kuroo yelled
"Tetsuro!" His mom yelled
"It's the truth..."
"My mom is right here... she's right next to me" I said with wide eyes with tears and a big smile
"Riku..."
We arrived to aunt's house and we took seats at the table
Tetsuro didn't care, he just went to his room and played video games
"Riku, I know this is hard for you"
My mom was everything to me
I lost my dad at a younger age and for a while, my mom wanted to join him
I was about 3 years old so I didn't know much
"I don't want to believe it!" I just cried and cried for so long
"Me neither, Riku, me neither" my aunt hugged me tight
After I graduated middle school, I got accepted in a prestigious high school in Miyagi, Shiratorizawa Academy
"Auntie, can I talk to you for a bit, about high school"
"Of course"
We sat down on the table
"I've been accepted to a high school in Miyagi, and I really want to attend there" I went straight to the point
"Oh yeah, what school?"
"Shiratorizawa Academy"
Kuroo who was in the kitchen right next to them spit out the water he was drinking
"You're actually going to attend Shiratorizawa?!" He yelled
"Now now, Tetsuro, calm down"
"Why should I calm down, the tuition fee for that school is huge?! I won't let you pay for it, Mom!"
"That's the good part!" I stood up quickly "I got a scholarship! So we won't need to pay!"
"What about where you'll stay, apartments can be expensive?!"
"I've got a friend in Miyagi who's got an empty room in his house! He gave me permission to stay with him until I could find an apartment!"
We just kept arguing
I hated it
I wanted to die
"Stop protesting, Riku! I bet both of your parents killed themselves because they were raising you!"
That was the last strike
"Tetsuro! How could you say such awful thing!"
I was scared
I didn't say anything and just went to my room
"Riku!"
"Why'd you even let her stay with us mom! She's nothing but a burden!"
"Shut up Tetsuro! How could you be so cruel! You don't know anything about Riku and you've been judging her for so long!"
"I'm going to my room" he said with anger
I on the other hand
I didn't leave my room for days and days
I wasn't hungry nor thirsty
'Can I just die' I asked myself that over and over
One day I finally decided to leave my room
"Riku!" Auntie rushed and hugged me
"Auntie? Do I have your permission to go to Miyagi?"
"Of course you do, Riku"
"I'll leave next week, is that fine?"
"Of course"
Then came the day of my leave
The station wasn't very crowded for a Tuesday night
I arrived to Miyagi safely
And went to my friend's house, where I would be staying
"Welcome, Riku" he smiled
"It's good to see you, Eita-kun"
He gave me the extra room and we both began attending Shiratorizawa together
But he later became busy with volleyball so I barely saw him
