Gasp
Riku woke up from that dreadful nightmare
"Why now..." a tear fell from her eye to her cheek
'I really should've never agreed to come to Tokyo with Ren' she thought
The girl got off the bed and changed her clothes
It was still the middle of the night but she really needed some fresh air
'It's hotter than expected'
It was now morning
Ren had just woken up
"Tetsuro?"
"Yeah?"
"What happened between you and Riku?"
"I'd rather not talk about it, sorry"
"Don't you think that's quite sad?"
"Why do you wanna know so badly?"
"Because Riku's my friend"
"You literally met her like three months ago"
"So what? We started dating after only knowing each other for 1 month!"
"Yeah we'll you just confessed to me out of nowhere!"
"And you said you liked me back!"
"We'll I didn't! I just didn't want you to feel embarrassed!"
Her face froze in shock
"Wh-what?"
"You heard exactly what I said, now you can take your things and leave, and take that neglected lowlife with you"
She didn't believe what she was hearing. So she just went by instinct and slapped him
"You're a piece of shit" she said before getting up and gathering her things
"Don't forget anything, I don't want to remember you"
"Goodbye, shithead"
She walked out of the room with her things without forgetting to leave behind the purple hoodie
As she was about to knock on Riku's door, she entrance door opened revealing her
"Ren?"
"Riku, I'm leaving. Pack your things if you want to come too" she looked down to the floor
"Is something wrong?"
"I'll tell you outside"
Riku then preceded to get all her stuff, making sure not to forget anything and then went outside with Ren
"Tell me what happened"
"Let's walk a bit first, yeah" she still hadn't lifted her head
They then arrived to a park that wasn't too close to Kuroo's apartment
"So you gonna tell me now?"
"Me and Kuroo broke up. He said that he only accepted my confession because he didn't want me to feel embarrassed, he never liked me"
Ren couldn't take it anymore
She started crying uncontrollably
"Ren..." Riku hugged her tightly
"Did I do sometimes w-wrong?! Do I really deserve this?!" She cried into Riku's shoulder
"You didn't do anything, Ren. Kuroo is an asshole" she patted Ren's head
They stayed like that for a few minutes and then stopped
"Ren?"
"Yeah" she asked with a shaky voice
"Let's go back to Miyagi, right now" she grinned
"Ok" Ren looked at her with a weak smile
"Let's go!" Riku yelled
"Yeah!" Ren yelled back
Once they had arrived to the station, they took the first train to Miyagi of the day
They waited 3 hours before they they'd finally arrive
"Ren, let's go get bubble tea!"
"Hell yeah!"
They went and got their drinks and left the station quickly and began heading to the store
"My brother is gonna be so confused" Ren laughed
"We'll yeah, we were supposed to return next week"
The girls then walked a bit more until finally arriving to the store and going inside
"Welcome to Sakanoshi- REN?!"
"Surprise?"
"Pft" Riku laughed
They explained the situation quickly and then took a few snacks before heading up stairs to Ren's room
"Ren?"
"Yeah?"
"Remember I'll always be by your side" she smiled
"I know you will, because I'll be by yours" Ren smiled back
The girls laughed together for a while, they were really enjoying themselves
"Say Riku? When will you invite me to your house?"
"Uhhhhhhhhhhh... one day"
"How about tomorrow?"
"You know what? Sure!"
