Chapter 17

"Rin, Are you okay?" Karin asked walking into their house as she took off her coat, the young girl's eyes widened as she stiffened and jumped up as Karin looked concerned

"'I-I'm fine!" Rin exclaimed and Karin still wore an unsure look as she looked at her before simple nodding

"Good, well I'm making dinner now. So it won't be too long" Karin smiled while Rin's eyes widened looking at the woman and her smile before she looked to the ground

"I-I don't need it! I'm off to Kagura's tonight and I think I will have another hospital visit tomorrow" Rin mumbled while Karin's eyes rose and looked at the girl

"Do you want me to come with you?" Karin asked with concern as Rin simple shook her head.

"No, I'm fine," Rin said before she grabbed her coat and started to leave Karin's eyes widened as she looked at the girl

"Wait!" Karin shouted running towards the girl as she stopped and looked towards the older woman as she smiled "Don't forget your scarf, its cold tonight" Karin smiled wrapping the scarf as Rin's eyes were still wide

"Thanks" Rin mumbled before running out the door as Karin sighed watching the girl and the moon shining bright as she sighed loudly.

"I should get started on dinner"

"Oh my, She is adorable" Karin smiled holding the new baby girl Hinata while Hiro's mum simple smiled and watched them

"I know right, she is like a Mini Hiro and he's such a loving brother" Hiro's mother smiled widely as Karin simple smiled

"I knew he would be" Karin smiled before she looked down at the baby with a soft smile, almost wishing for it.

"You and Kazuma would have had cute babies" She cooed as Karin's eyes widened as she looked back up at the mum she frowned before simple chuckling

"I had enough trouble with Kyo and Rin" Karin mumbled remembering back to when they were young children as Hiro's mum simple smiled

"How is Rin? I heard she was back in the hospital" Hiro's mum stated before grabbing the new baby and carefully putting her in her crib as Karin looked back up at the mother.

"I haven't heard from her, She just left and hasn't come back. I'm a bit worried" Karin mumbled remembering back to how she rung and rung Rin.

"I'm sure she will be okay, She will turn up," Hiro's mum said with a smile holding and drinking her tea while Karin simple looked down at the liquid in her cup

"I will see you soon" Karin waved towards the other mother as lifting she left the house, her coat wrapped around her as she held her bag, though as she walked she soon came to a stop as she saw another woman

"Ah, Hello Karin" Ren smiled widely at the adult as Karin simple sighed and rolled her eyes

"Hello Ren" Karin stated through gritted teeth as Ren simple chuckled

"How have you been-"

"I really must be going, Nice to see you," Karin said cutting off the woman as she has tightened her fist and looked back at her before she smirked

"Of course, But how's Isuzu?" Ren asked causing Karin to stop and stiffen as she looked at the woman, her eyes tightening in a glare "A very curious girl isn't she?" Ren almost teased

"What do you mean?" Karin asked with confusion as Ren simple chuckled at the woman before lifting her hand to her face.

"I mean she wants to break the curse doesn't she?" Ren asked as Karin's eyes widened as she dropped her bag and it fell to the ground she looked in shock.

"What do you know!" Karin shouted as she soon grabbed the collar of the woman, her eyes filling with fury as the maid's eyes widened as they looked at the scene.

"I just wanted to help her," Ren said with a smirk before her eyes glistened with a glare "For something in return" she finished as Karin's eyes widened before she let go and ran in the opposite direction as Ren smirked

"Rin! Rin!" Karin shouted storming through the hospital as her eyes were filled with tears as she raced through, Many doctors and nurses looked at her concerned before she saw Hatori

"Where is she?!" Karin shouted at the man as he simple nodded towards the room, his face concerned and as Karin turned before her eyes widened looking at the girl

"Oh, Isuzu" Karin stated with tears in her eyes as she raced to the girl who rested unconsciously in the bed she gasped seeing the state of the girl.

"D-Did Akito do this?" Karin asked Hatori and looked at the man as he simply looked down before Karin's eyes were filled with rage as she soon stormed out of the room, Hatori's eyes widened

"Karin, Don't do anything rash," Hatori said stopping the women in the hallway as she simple scoffed and looked at him, her eyes narrowing. 

"We can't let Akito keep getting away with this! Someone needs to tell her!" Karin shouted before her eye were filled with sorrow "After what she does to Kyo, Yuki, You and Rin someone has to do something" Karin said as Hatori simple looked down

"Karin" A voice stated as her eyes widened as she turned to see Kazuma standing there, his face filling with Sympathy as he looked at the women, as tears started to fall. 

"I failed" Karin soon cried as Kazuma's eyes widened before he ran towards his wife and took her in his arms as the woman wept "I promise I would look after them and yet I keep failing as a mother" Karin cried as Kazuma simple rubbed her back.

"No, you didn't" Was all he could respond as he embraced his wife, while unknown to the two Rin had woken up and made her way out the window. 

"Izu!" Karin shouted coming into the hospital room as Haru and Rin rested there. The older women ran toward them as Kazuma followed.

"My goodness, how are you feeling? Have you eaten?!" Karin asked with worried filling her face as Kazuma smiled

"I'm fine Karin," Rin simple said with a sign Karin simple smiled as she looked to see Haru holding her hand.

"Thank you for being her back Haru. She left so suddenly" Karin said as Kazuma laughed

"Karin was going to drag her back here herself" Kazuma laughed as Karin simple nodded

"Hell yes, I was! What were you thinking!" Karin soon started to scold the girl as Rin looked down. Karin sighed as she looked at Kazuma

"Izu" Karin spoke before her hand went towards the young girl's cheek as Rin stiffened her eye turning towards the older woman.

"We're here" she spoke with a soft smile as Rin's eyes widened before she nodded, tears in her eyes.

"I'm always here"
