"Is it just me or is she staring at me" Meredith leaves over the nurses station to Cristina

They're heads turned to you who was a new intending at SGH

"Oh Dr. Y/L/N. She's super sweet" Izzy butted in

You walked past to a different patients room.

"She's got a sweet ass too" Meredith watched as you walked up to the patient.

You pitied him. You were smiling sweetly at him but felt her gaze on you so you turned to look out the window for a second

"Go get yourself some. You need to get over Derek one way or another" Christina pushed her toward you who was now walking out of a patients room.

"Why hello Dr. Grey" you looked her up and down

"You are sweet" she whispered to herself

"Excuse me?!" You chuckled

"Oh umm nothing.. nothing"

The two of you bumped into each other a few times

It wasn't until on your way out of the hospital you got to talk to her again

She was cursing in angry standing out in the rain

She slammed her car door yelling a 'shit' as you approached

"Need a ride?" You made your presents known

She turned to you and looked at her car one last time

"Please?" She sighed and you only nodded and scooted j on bed slightly waiting for her to join you under your umbrella

"I hate Seattle. I just wanna get away"  she complained

"You're shaking honey" you informed wrapping an arm around her

She shook off the gesture thinking nothing of it.

You liked to watched her squirm under your touch like a bug.

You'd had your eyes on her since you got to Seattle

Of course now that Dr. Shepard was out of your way. This was going to be a piece of cake.

You opened her door for her and helped her inside your car gently

"You can fix that to your liking. I'm sure you're cold" you gestured to the thermostat.

She fidgeted with it for a second before putting her hands back into her lap.

The ride was quiet at first but you had Meredith cracking up in 10 minutes

"Hey... this isn't the way of my house"

"No it's not. It's the way to mine" she let out another cute snort. Poor girls probably exhausted she's worked two 48 hours shifts this week.

"Why are we going there-"

"You said you wanted to get away right?"

"Wow.. you're bold. I like that. Derek's not bold" she chuckled to herself and you found yourself questioning her sobriety for a second

You took her into your house and she plopped down in the couch helping herself.

"Shit... you're freezing. Here you go.. warm yourself up" you turned in the fire and giggled when she watching in awe making a 'woahhhh' sound.

You went to the kitchen for a second to grab a bottle of wine and when you came back she was already asleep on the couch

"Oh Mer" you sat down next to her and chuckled when Meredith leaned into you burring her head on your stomach.

"Just relax... get away for little bit" you stroked her hair.
