Prompt: You just moved to Highland with your Mom after your dad left. You end up moving next door to Rue's family and you and Rue gets close.

Y/N POV:

I've just woken up from a good ass nap in my new room but hear knocking on my door before it opens.

"Hey, I see you're finished in here. The neighbor and her kids are coming over in a bit so get ready." My mami says kissing my head
"Okay, what's for dinner?" I asks sitting up in my bed
"We're having shrimp Alfredo pasta with cheesy bread." She says smiling knowing it's one of my favorites
"I'll be down in a few." I say and she nods closing my door back

Once, she closes my door, I get up lock my door before heading for the shower.

I wash my hair, body and I make sure to shave before exiting my shower. I then head to my closet grabbing an simple outfit hearing knocking on my door.

"Coming!" I say loud enough

I walk to open my door seeing a beautiful but exhausting looking teenage girl as I'm standing in front her, her eyes widen.

"U-Uh hi I'm Rue, Rue Bennett. I'm your neighbor." She says holding out her hand
"Hi, Rue. I'm Y/n you're neighbor." I say grabbing her hand shaking it gently
"Dinners not ready yet so you're mom told me I could come chill up here with you." She says and I nod
"Come on in." I say letting her in
"Cool room." She comments walking in
"Thanks took me forever to do." I say as she sits on my bed
"Wanna play a game where we asks like random? While we 'chill' " She asks
"Yeah sure. You first." I say sitting on my bean bag
"What's your sexuality?" She asks playing with her hands
"I'm a Lesbian. How about you?" I asks running a hand through my hair
"Also a lesbian." She says and I nod
"Age?" I asks
"17. You?" She says smiling softly
"I'm 17 too." I say laughing
"Um do you wanna maybe hangout tomorrow and maybe this week?" She asks nervously
"Sure, you are a cool person." I say walking in front of her
"Are you nervous?" I asks her and she nods a bit
"I get nervous around girls I'm interested in." She says lowly
"We'll, can I kiss you?" I asks and she nods smiling soft

I push her on my bed softly before straddling her waist pulling her in for a kiss, turning into a make out session.

"Y/n! Rue! Dinners Ready!" My mom yells causing us to pull away gently
"Wow." She says biting her lip
"Yeah wow." I say smiling softly pecking her lips before getting off her lap

I grab her hand, pulling her up before walking downstairs seeing I'm guessing Rue mom and sister.

"This is Y/n. Y/n this is Leslie and Gia our neighbors." My mami says as we walk close to them
"Nice to meet you two." I say smiling a bit awkwardly

They smile before my mom tells us all to sit down for dinner. Rue sits next to me setting her hand on my lap making me smile a bit.

Time Skip

We finish eating dinner and getting to know each other. As they were about to leave, I pull Rue aside.

"Is everything okay?" She asks as her mom and sister walk next door to their house
"Yeah, you're number?" I asks smiling softly putting hair behind my ear
"Oh shit yeah." She says taking my phone typing in her number
"Here you go." She says blushing
"I'll text you." I say and she nods before walking away

'Goodnight :)' I text Rue
I get a 'Goodnight ;)' back

I go back inside and change into a oversized t-shirt and panties for bed.

Time Skip

I wake up hearing my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I say answering my phone
"Hey, it's Rue. I wanted know if you want to go get some ice cream later like during lunch time." She asks and I know she nervous a bit
"Yeah, you can come over now and I could make us some breakfast since I know my mami's at work." I say sitting up in my bed
"Okay, I'll be over in a little." She says making me smile
"Okay, Bye." I say smiling softly before hanging up
